Works fine when it's cold out, but in any sort of air temperature above 80 deg. F or when in direct sun, this converter will cut out. Banging it brings back operation. It's cheap, guess it's too much to expect good QC on the soldering.

Has everything I need for making a presentation. No more asking for different adaptors and worrying about not having the right adapter! This thing is a dream. I just returned from a conference and I was 100% covered for all presentations I was giving as well as providing it to others who were in need. The sleek design and weightlessness allows it to lay flat in my laptop case and doesn't add any extra weight when on the go. Would highly recommend to anyone (e.g. teachers, professors, researchers) who are attending conferences or giving presentations on their computer!

It worked with my Mac but not with the Microsoft Surface. It’s kinda hard to connect with the projector’s cable but other than that it does the job

This thing is solid.Sometimes the monitor doesn't light up and says "going to power saving mode". This could be the reason that your computer needs to be restarted. I spent quite some time to debug this issue and found out it is not the issue for cable, monitor, or the converter. Then after I restarted my Macbook air, this issue resolves itself.

Works great. I'm not sure if the wobbly display port plug can be made more secure but I would feel a little more comfortable if it wan't so wobbly in the port hole. I think this issue might just be inherent in DP plugs i general. I've used it for all three outputs.

I was really happy with this adaptor with the first couple of weeks that I had it (cheap, easy to use, sleek), but now it has just stopped working. I have tried everything and I will probably just get a Apple adaptor and toss this one.

The product worked pretty well for 3 weeks. Today, it stopped working. Such a bummer because I liked the features it had and made made a lot of things easier. For the price, I was expecting/hoping it would work for at least a year

Haven't had a problem with this. I was worried for the price it would be cheap or break easily. It's been nice and reliable. It's a nice weight and it's easy to keep in my work bag.
