I used this to restore my CPU on a laptop which was broken and I had to fix for someone seemed to do the trick and you can use this again the value is good and quality.

Bought this in error when I was trying to buy MX-4, Can't say I'm disappointed.on average brought temps down 3-4c compared to the MX-4 on pre-post benchmark tests.it is a little awkward to install as it feels quite sticky, I found putting it on cpu direct from tube and letting the cooler spread it out allowed it to get the coverage it needed.Working great though! don't be afraid of going for it cause it's not as well known. It does actively perform well.The included wipes work great at removing old thermal paste. and it contains plenty for multiple applications.

Good temperatures, better then recent TF4 which is quite on the budget.Application was horrible, actually the worst from all pastes I ever had (6-7?).Warming it in glass of hot water wasn't very helpful either.Nice extras in the packing, but I don't think I will buy it again.

I've been testing a lot of CPU pastes (the non liquid metal variety). Kooling Monster KOLD-01 is by far one of the best I've used. Dropping a liquid cooled Ryzen 9900X CPU down significantly (compared to the stock pre-applied paste on the cooling block) after a 24hr run. Idling at around 44C when not on load. What's more, the temps are really stable, with little to no fluctuation. A small 1.8g tube will do one CPU, so if slap it on you might need to go for 2 tubes. It's a little thicker than most pastes due to it's composition, but I found warming the tube up by keeping it in my pocket for a while helped loosen it up a little. Would recommend for sure.

Bought as my heatsink on pc was playing up. Cleaned and reapplied thermal paste and no problems now. Very happy with purchase. Would recommend

Update: 3-4 weeks into using temperatures started to creep up and increase. upon removing the heatsink inside laptop found paste was very easy to remove with one swipe everything was off the CPU die. very strange never experienced this before. There is enough another application but I will wait and compare vs MX6 I had laying around.Works well after 2 weeks of use on laptop, temperatures comparable to generic unbranded PTM7950,Unless you can find 100% reliable genuine Honeywell PTM the KM Kold01 is good alternative.however not sure about £9 price tag I think it's too expensive the £6-7 range is perfect.If you struggle spreading the paste suggest leaving a dot in the middle of CPU and let cooler heat sink spread it out. you want layer to be think not thick.
