A really unique set!
Summary: I really enjoyed this set, my toddler really enjoys it, I’m really happy I stumbled upon it. It’s fun, it’s creative, it’s good quality, and it gives you clear tiles and rare shapes you don’t often find in other sets. 5 out of 5 stars from meLong review:Ok, I bought this Space-themed set a while ago, as I was looking for a set with clear tiles to add to our collection. I didn’t pay any attention to the “paint” tiles, and just left them in the box under the bed. I was just cleaning under the bed this week, and discovered them again, painted them up, and I just had to come here and leave a review.I’ll review the tiles in 2 parts:The “normal” tilesI bought these looking for a set to add “clear” tiles to our collection, and I am really happy with them. The clear ones are actually clear, not discoloured in any way, and actually translucent, not smokey or cloudy (although the diamond pattern prevents the squares from being perfectly “see through”… it gives it more of a stained glass effect). The blue and purple ones are a soft colour, nice for princess castles. They’re not exactly the same colour as Connetix Pastel purple or blue, but they’re similar and would mix well. The squares and most of the triangles have a “diamond” pattern on the face of them that’s really attractive. The pentagon and tall right angle triangles are not “diamond” faceted, they’re plain transparent plastic, and the pentagons have a star shape in them for strength. Those two shapes are rare to find in magnetic tile sets, so it’s cool to find them in clear! The magnets are strong, and they’re compatible with other brands.Overall they’ve been a great addition to our collection. The paint tiles:These are super unique, I haven’t seen anything like this before. When you get them, they’re 8 beige tile inserts and a set of paints, and I initially just tossed them aside. But then I pulled them out this weekend, gave them a go, and really enjoyed painting them and am really pleased with the results. The paint is “glue paint”, which I’ve never seen before. It was really satisfying to use tho. Each colour comes in a tube with a really fine tip spout, and you squeeze it into the “wells” on the tiles. All up, it took me about 2 and a half hours (broken up across a couple of sessions) to paint them all in, and I really enjoyed the process. Each tile is double sided… one side has an alien, and one side has a space scene. You get 2 of each tile, which could be fun for matching games, etc.Once dry, you’ll see the paint has a really pretty pearlescent/glitter effect. They look so cool, my 4 year old loves them.I’ve never seen something like this before, but whoever came up with the idea was really clever and creative, and I’d love to see more sets like this! They didn’t come with any instructions (unless I missed them) so I’ll share some tips- the glue paint appears pale and pastel in the tubes; at first I thought they sent me random colours. But it dries much more vivid and darker. They’re great vibrant colours.- it’s detailed work painting them. Lots of little tiny details to paint, I wouldn’t let my toddler loose with them. Probably better for an adult to paint while the kid’s asleep, or at least a kid say 8 years or older. My 4 year old caught me painting them when I was nearly done, and threw a fit that I wouldn’t let her “help”, but it would be way too advanced for her and they look so cool I couldn’t let her “ruin” them.- don’t hold back with the glue paint. Go ahead and fill up each well with the colour you want to use. The paint shrinks as it dries, so if you only do a thin layer it’ll look light and translucent. I used 2 layers on each tiles—- I filled up all the wells once, it dried and shrunk as it dried, and I went back and filled them up a second time to get a really vivid colour. You can be generous, they give you plenty of paint, and the only colour i managed to completely use up was the blue one.- Go slow and use a steady pressure to avoid getting air bubbles. The paint has a nice viscosity, it’s self-levelling so it will dry smooth, and it will “flow” to fill in any tiny nooks and crannies.

Worth every penny!
My child (age 5) is absolutely obsessed with these sparking magnetic tiles! The vibrant color is eye-catching, and the pieces are durable, well-made, and easy to connect. We've built towers, castles, and even pretend “magnetic cars” — the possibilities are endless!

Lots of fun
Even though they are smaller than I thought the are a hit with the great grandchildren. They spends lots of time stacking and seeing where they can make them stick

My son loves these!
I really love these magnetic dino tiles! My son (he's 4) plays when them so often. If you've got a kiddo that loves dinos, I'd highly recommend these!

Favorite toy of our 5 year old granddaughter.
These are high quality, durable tiles that are excellent for the young architect in your life. Our 5 year old granddaughter uses these to build castles throughout the day and they have definitely become her favorite toy/activity on a daily basis. The only thing that I was disappointed in was how dark the blue tiles are compared to the picture on the advertisement. However, that is a personal preference and is insignificant to the quality and educational advantage it provides.I highly recommend this toy for all ages.

Deceptive photo
Not possible to assemble some of the ideas from the instruction, some elements have different colors, shapes and count. The castle visible on the picture is 2d (front only) and can't stand on its own. At least 2 sets are needed for fun play
