Fantastic product! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the parts as well as accessories that come with this kit. It comes with a height extender for the base so you can have the start of your arm higher up, which I'm sure is abundantly useful for certain circumstances, the oddly impressive thing is that the machining and tolerances of the extender piece fitting into the arm and into the base is satisfyingly accurate. That was the part of assembly that blew me away to where I actually wanted to write a review to tell other people, hey this thing is high quality 👌. It has plenty of mounting screws at the top of the arm for many different common sizes of microphone/ shock mount (vibration damper). The length of the two arms of this product is what drew me to it, and thankfully the weight of the microphone doesn't cause the arm to slowly fall down, because of the fact that it has adjustment screws beneath the middle section where the two parts of the boom arm meet, to tighten or loosen the joint; and, it still allows it to be moved freely and easily. Additionally, the cable hideaway along the top of the arm allows enough space for my XLR cable to fit securely and still have some space to flex and move with the mic without fear of somehow coming out.

Great professional product feels very sturdy and hides all wires, cleanly, and neatly. Easily mounts to any desk and has multiple attachments for multiple different mounts for microphones.

Does the job. Manipulating the boom to be in the right position (due to its internal pressure) will take some getting used to.

With so many Mike arms out there it’s difficult to find the best one at a reasonable price. This particular Mike arm was reasonably priced very good quality works great.

It is not often that i write reviews on amazon, but this!?!? THIS DESERVES A REVIEW!!! I'm a music producer and it's been really hard to find a mic arm that is 1) long enough for my big desk 2) Is stable and stays put after I move it and 3) can move whenever i want. This mic arm accomplishes all those things. On top of everything I mentioned it just feels deluxe. Everything from from the packaging to the way the metal perfectly fits together and moves perfectly smoothly. Hardly any assembly. I'd give this 6 stars if i could.

I was looking for a desktop boom for doing some recording, but I needed something strong enough to handle a Rode NT-1 which is a bit heavy. This boom handles it well and the price was better than most, for what it is. I also like the channel to keep the XLR cable in check. It is brand new so I hope it holds up. But, for right now it's pretty awesome! It looks good and functions exactly as it should.

I have 2 good brand microphone, so I was used several boom arms before for my studio.When I saw this boom arm on picture I thought it would be good for my desk. The price also very reasonable, but I totally disappointed when I set this boom arm with my microphones.*The main issue with this boom arm it can’t hold heavy microphones like Shure SM7B.* Second issue is ; you can’t rotate microphone where you want with this arm.* The third problem is ; cable management so thin so it can’t hold XLR cable.* The forth problem is ; It's almost as hard as you have to hit it with a sledgehammer to get the extension rod into its slot.* The fifth problem is ; you should waste your time for return it and getting your money back.I recommend everyone for looking another good brands boom arm , SO DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME WITH THAT GARBAGE !
