I have found this to really help me feel satiated with smaller meals

I have PCOS so I started to take myo-inositol at the recommendation of my GYN. She did not recommend a particular brand. This seems to align with the correct 40:1 ratio she recommended. I do not take the dose of 4 pills a day however and started with 1 and am still there. If any side effects at all, I noticed softer stools/mild diarrhea in the first couple of weeks, however this resolved soon on its own. Note that I am taking 1/4 the dose, so maybe that is why I have not noticed effects. Quantitatively the effect should be to improve insulin sensitivity, however this is hard to measure without a glucose monitoring device and I am insulin resistant, but not prediabetic so I have not tried monitoring my insulin levels with and without myo-inositol. However I will try to update if I get better insulin or A1C results in the future, but there will be confounding factors like diet. I have taken this for about 3.5 months at this point.Some reviews I have read of myo-inositol (in general, not this brand) indicate it really works in the hormone pathway for some people, ie their hormone levels get normalized with this alone and they notice favorable changes in their bodies with fertility, shape, and mood. I took myo-insitol alone for a couple of weeks before starting birth control estrogen-containing pills to manage my PCOS, and did not notice any changes in my body. Additionally, even with the estrogen-containing pills, I have not noticed changes in mood or body that would not be caused by something else. So some reviews seem really hopeful for rebalancing hormones, however I am taking other pills that mask that effect and don't seem to have much of an effect on my body shape or mood. Note that I am not trying to get pregnant at this stage of my life so I cannot comment on whether these improve fertility.I researched the company and it seemed legit enough for me to take the pills as a product reviewer - usually I am pretty cautious about things like that. Make sure you research things you buy online and note that the supplement industry is not well regulated generally speaking. Be careful and look into the science. Good luck!

I've been taking inositol for about a year now. Trying to regulate my hormones after pregnancy. And it has so many additional benefits that caught my attention.I realize I needed help with increasing my insulin sensitivity...and that has been a big factor in my day to day life and I didn't realize it until I started higher dosages of inositol.This is the 3rd brand of a 2000+mg dosage and it is my absolute favorite! I feel so great on the days I take this. My blood sugar is stable and I have energy. To clarify, I do not have diabetes (I have non-diabetic hypoglycemia) nor do I have pcos, that I know of.I do have heart issues and anything with coq10 gets my attention. And what a fantastic blend inositol and coq10 make!I can't really explain in what way it makes me feel good. It's like, I have a bit more vitality or strength in my blood. Idk... it's not an energy like from caffeine or ginseng. It more of a steady ability to do whatever needs doing. As I also have chronic fatigue, this is a rare and much welcomed change.I absolutely love this!Yes, 4 pills a day... I'm used to taking pills so I can take the 4 plus whatever else at once. It's not an issue to me. The benefits are worth it.As I mentioned, I have been taking inositol for a year or so. So if you are just starting out, you may or may not notice the benefits as quickly as you are hoping for. Just thought I should clarify in hopes that helps someone.
