Stable
Very stable. The size is good enough for a 13 inch Laptop and this is it, nothing else but that’s more than enough. Need to adjust the level once a while

Good portable stand for a Laptop!
This portable stand works very well for my Laptop that is 15.6 size. The height adjustment is easily accomplished and the stand is sturdy and very stable for laptop viewing in video meetings. I would recommend it for anyone needing to hold a laptop on a stand that is free-standing, I give it 5 Stars!

Are things missing?
When my stand came it was delivered with the box completely open (it wasn't sealed) coming from Amazon. So I'm not sure what's missing. I know the Amazon site says that it's supposed to come with a Phone Holder, mine didn't have a holder. Not sure if a carrying case was to come with it or not. Not sure if another extension was to come with it because my stand will not tighten at all at the lower joint portion (seems odd), so adjusting the height from the bottom isn't possible. I've noticed that some review show where there are breaks in the screws so I didn't over tighten. I've also noticed something interesting, the upper connector joint that connects the flat top to the upper extension, there's a round "thing" that we're supposed to slide a bolt through to connect the upper to the lower, but the round "thing" is closed on both sides. Some folks talk about drilling through it. What I did was look closer at it and noticed (that the plastic that covers the open actually slides down) and that if I slide the end of a pocket knife tip into the slight opening at the top of the closed round "thing," then I could pull down the portion that covered the holes. In other words, no drilling was necessary, when I pulled down on one side of the hole, it opened up both sides simultaneously. I hope this stand is sturdy enough for my expensive equipment.

OK for light use
It's not very sturdy, so it's best for a light projector. If you'll use it outside, consider buying sand bags, like photographers use to weigh down their camera tripods, to keep wind from toppling it over. For a laptop, you'll need to keep it in a lower position, away from people and pets who might bump into it.Two tips for assembly:1. Use the allen key to unscrew the bottom of the lower support pole connector *all the way*, and then pry it open a little as you slip it over the tripod pole. Even then it's a tight fit, but it does fit.2. The top of the support pole has a circular piece that the tray sits on, and that lets the tray tilt. The piece is pushed all the way down onto the pole, which makes it look like there's no hole drilled in the center of the circular part for the screw. Pull it off to reveal the holes in the pole and the circular piece.

Stand for Boss Acoustic Singer Live!!! Get One!!!
Built very sturdy!!! I bought it to put my Boss Acoustic Singer Live amp on at a reasonable height. It’s around 22 pounds and holds it with no issue!!! Highly recommend!!!

Unstable, Difficult to Assemble & Unfinished Laptop Stand
I was pretty disappointed with this laptop stand. While it looks okay and has a nice tray, the overall quality just doesn’t hold up. The main issue is that one of the poles doesn’t fully connect, making the stand unstable. It’s missing a piece that should connect the poles, so the top spins freely, and you can even pull the top off entirely, which makes it unsafe for use. There’s no replacement piece provided, so I’m stuck with an unfinished product that doesn’t work as intended. The stand is shaky, and although the tray is nice, the stand itself is far from sturdy. Assembly was difficult, and it didn’t even fully assemble properly. Based on this, I wouldn’t recommend this stand. If you need something reliable and sturdy, there are definitely better options out there in this price range. This one is just not worth buying at all.
