This does not contain varnish. 2 bottle of adhesive .
The adhesive does.color change well and makes a great finish. It doesnt contain any varnish to seal gilding when finished.the kit would be great if it did. The foil is easy to work with. It was an easy size to work with. It handled very easy in the double wax papaer.Did a great job.

Nice complete set!
This set comes with everything you need to add gold leaf lots of things! I used to add interest to some glass jars I will float candles in for centerpieces. It's a tad messy but make sure you cover your work area and you'll be fine. I love the way they turned out and highly recommend this one stop shop kit! I covered 20 16oz. Jars and have a small amount of leaf leftover.

Really worked! Easy to apply! Looks beautiful under resined pieces or without any protection or varnish.
