I had to update my wiFi dongle. As I had a new faster router, I downloaded the software from MSi website and installed it. I set up the connection to the router, I checked my downloading speed, I am very happy with the results.A great buy at a reasonable priceHighly recommended

I'm able to use fully the dual 5 GHz bands for my MSI GE66 Raider laptop (160 MHz) and TV box (80 MHz) , and the 2.4 GHz band for the rest of devices.I strongly recommend this router for people that have only WiFi 6 compatible device and less protocol. The utility interface is very pleasant to use, easy to setup.I will recommend to setup each WiFi channel manually, this way you should not have any issue with the highest frequency 5GHz band when power shut down.For people with upgrade WiFi capabilities, WiFi 6E and WiFi 7, they may go for latest option for this MSI WiFi router (AXE6600 and the upcoming WiFi 7 router).This router is working perfectly for a week now, speed test 99 Mbs download / 27 Mbs upload at 30 ft - good enough fluent HD TV and gaming.

Sent it back. Really lousy app and wouldn’t connect to my router. Bought a tp link WiFi 7 instead and set up in under 5 minutes

Excellent device, works well

Well it certainly wasn't plug and play ( I have WIN10 on a PC ) so luckily I'd downloaded the drivers before plugging it in. Problem then was the download was in a winzip format, which is not a free program, and I'd used my free trial up. Not good MSI. Being a PC guy I got round it but could be awkward for some people. Anyhow once I had it installed quite happy with it. Getting 500 download with my phone, PC not so good but it's an old banger like me so think that was the reason.. Good luck

Very nice and super speed network for gaming

The connection works well enough. There's just one problem: you need to download the drivers to make it work.That's right, the device you might be buying to connect your PC to the Internet needs the Internet to download the drivers to use it.I've had no problems after setup but if you don't have an alternative means of downloading the drivers then you may have difficulty.

After reading the websites wonderful expectations on this product, it sounded amazing and appealing.Unfortunately it has made no difference at all from my current ISP’S router that is also WiFi 6, in fact I get less speeds over WiFi with this router, Wired lan connection is exactly the same speed as my providers, No difference at all. I have gig1 fibre and was hoping to see this router blow my gaming experience out the water.I spent hours trying to configure the router, the MSI app was buggy, wouldn’t let me set up as new user, QR code wouldn’t scan from back of the router. When I finally managed to create an account hours later, I was logged back out, unable to get back in as it said my user name or password was incorrect. I haven’t been able to get into the settings properly to use the features like game boost or anything as I can’t get into the app.Online gaming, frame drops and speed drops at peak times. Have same issues with the ISP’s router, this is the reason I purchased this product, hoping it would resolve the issue but it hasn’t. No other devices were using the network other than my ps5.very expensive product that’s made no difference.So a warning to others that already own a WiFi 6 router, don’t invest in all these gaming routers promising dramatic results!! You’ll be left lighter in pocket and very disappointed.They could at least put a video up on you tube on how to configure the router and settings.However I do like the design of the product and appears to be well made. The packaging and box is excellent displayed. Unfortunately it hasn’t met my expectations.
