There is a knack to folding and unfolding the steps. However they are very sturdy and lightweight which is what I was after as I have arthritis and finding it increasingly difficult to lift heavy things

I am 77 years old and fiercely independent. as I have aged I have lost a few inches in height. Lately this has become annoying as I can no longer close the transom windows without the use of a ladder, I can open them, it's the reaching out for the handle that I am no longer able to do. My normal ladder is stored outside and it meant sometimes having to go out at night in all weathers for the ladder. I prevent this, I was looking for a little step stool when I spotted this little two-step ladder. I have to say it is brilliant, really sturdy, lightweight and when folded very slim. I have hung the ladder on the inside of the cloakroom door on two medium-sized cup hooks. It is simply brilliant, I can now also reach everything on the top shelves of my kitchen cupboards. I have my independence back.

This was not my wife and my favourite, but in our household, we needed it to work for everyone safely.Other benefits include, folds flat and has a safety catch although I'm to this day not sure if I push or pull the lever but a couple of seconds of both gets me there.Thumbs up.

These steps are strong, yet light, and very useful for me. I don't like the clip at the back though. It's very loose and clanks about.

Works as you’d hope, good and stable plus better reach compared with a simple footstool.

These where bought for my mom to use to reach things. They do the job but don't seam to be too stable you can feel the metal of the steps move under you weight
