Good, but not great!
Since I already owned and loved my Nikon Monarch7 8x30 binoculars, I decided to buy similar format binoculars, after my Nikon fell apart after a few years (rubber skin practically melted and came apart). I can easily say that these, supposedly ED glass optics, are good, but inferior to Nikon. Clarity is simply not there for a reason I cannot explain. I checked the alignment, and there is no problem there. One thing I noticed, it states "Designed by Zeiss" on the product. Does it mean that they designed it, but are not responsible for quality?Other than that, it feels solid in hand, which I like very much. Also, it has exceptional viewing angle, which is possibly the best feature of this binocular. Case is well made, but not very functional if you attach the strap to the binocular, which you need to.Overall, it's good product, but overpriced relative to its performance.

Incredible Clarity in Compact Size
Clarity and brightness in compact size. I have a vortex viper set these are on par with those but much smaller. Great. Just great.

My dad loves this, primary use is for horse racing but has taken it on vacation as well. Very clean and bright images when looking through.

Not up to Zeiss standard
This compact Zeiss 8x32 is noticeably not as bright as Nikon m7 8x30 or even the lower priced Vortex HD 8x34. I am suspicious of the claimed use of ED glass on this made in China model. Otherwise the body design and enclosed case are top notch. What a share the glass itself is subpar. Returned !

Small Light Weight and Excellent Image Quality
Whats the best binocular? The one you have with you when you want to see something. I have several excellent pairs of full size binoculars that cost almost 10-fold more and are much larger and heavier that I use on birding trips. But, I also like to go hiking and generally be in the outdoors. I take these because they are compact and light, so I always have them when something interesting happens. I only take my full size birding binoculars when I have the intent to use them for some specific activity like birding or boating. Having said that, the images of the Terra ED’s are pin sharp, and the design is excellent. I just took them on a trip to Europe and used on days out in the country and was constantly surprised by their performance. I had been looking for a “travel” pair of binoculars for almost a year and had tried many and discovered these were optimal for small size, excellent optics and low cost. Highly recommended, would buy again.
