***UPDATE*** All bags function. Currently using all bags for my filament. Buy these bags!
***UPDATE*** Got some PETG filament and decided to use the "bad" bag only for it to work sealing my ABS filament. Having a few spools of filament now, I was able to use all 8 bags and they sealed. The other 5 I used earlier is keeping a tight vacuum seal, so I'm super satisfied with this kit. I'll be buying another if I need more bags. Changing my rating from 3 stars to 5 because everything worked as needed.Original Review:When the bags seal it works: I have multiple smaller spools of PLA filament that I use for multiple prints, and I rewrap those smaller spools so that no added moisture gets to them. I can fit two of the smaller spools inside one bag, which is an absolute plus. The kit works exactly as it needs to be......the issue I have is that one of the eight bags do not seal (so far). Granted, I've only used 4 of the 8 bags--but now there's only 7 usable bags instead of 8. That's not giving me the value for my money. If another bag doesn't seal, then 25% of the product doesn't work. There should be some quality control that ensures that every bag seals.

Best bag, IMHO, for filament storage..
My first bags, were made on a cost basis.. the problem after the first or second use it was hard to get the vacuum hole to seal. I then switched to these, bags, design for Filament.- easy to load filament spool- easy to vacuum, 3-4 pumps and done..- easy to seal, screw a the top that press the seal to ensure air tight.- Thinker material.Only con, would like a foil option, some some filaments that might be effected by UV ray until printed. Not sure is that is a thing, but my Overture PETG came in a Foil bag for one of the colors, I believe Black.. Please let me know if that is not a thing then this is not a con at all.Note I had 1 bag of 7 that did not seal.See Photos, cam this way..I did a a return, but hoped that I could talk with SUNLU, it would be nice if on their website they had..the STL file for the seal and cap.I can see these parts getting lost or damaged over time.To just reprint them, would be great and not a lost for the company.

Desiccant pouches are now in a sealed bag
Great product the bags work so well you have to be careful not to suck to much air out of them or you will bend your spool holders even the reusable ones from bambu tht are made of ABS. I would highly recommend these bags.

Seem good sonfar
I used all 8 bags right away. Only two bags gave me a slight issue where the seal “popped” open and lost vacuum. I simply resealed even tighter than I thought I originally did and each held fine after that. Pull a nice vacuum, just not too crazy and it should be fine. I tried to gently fold the sealing part into the spool filament area as I pulled the vacuum to help protect it.

High failure rate
These bags are more expensive than alternatives, and they have about a 30 to 40% failure rate—where they fail to retain a vacuum for a reasonable time. Typically, those that fail will lose vacuum within a week, usually much less. There's no obvious failure point; it could be the seal, or it could be the plastic (which tends to wrinkle and make sharp edges when vacuum sealed). Since the whole point of these bags is to be airtight, that's a hard fail. The included desiccant is a clay desiccant, which isn't rechargeable and provides no indication when it's no longer functional. It's mostly useless; you'll want to provide your own color-shifting silica gel desiccant packs. On the other hand, the vacuum pump works great. Unlike most competing brands, it only takes a few quick strokes to create a strong vacuum, and the screw-on design eliminates problems from holding the pump to the bag. But it's not compatible with other brands.... and Sunlu doesn't offer just the bags, so you wind up having to buy another pump to get more bags. It's wasteful. The bags are well sized for 3D printing filament; no problems fitting any style of 1kg spools. But that still doesn't make up for not holding a vacuum reliably. You're better off with a competing brand that offers "refill" bags, provides silica gel, and has more durable bags.

Works, but then it doesn’t
A bit a hit and miss on how well these bags seal. Plus side is that the pump is fast to remove existing air in the bag. However, you really have to position the zip seal where it will not have any sharp bends/kinks, otherwise it will eventually leak. Bag thickness is a bit thin. Already punctured several just from normal vacuuming and some areas wrinkled enough to tear the bag and cause a leak. I believe the bags being a bit too small is the culprit. All my other brands are larger and did not have this issue.

Big Mistake!
My original review, written after I sealed several spools of filament into these bags, was very positive. The bags all sealed very well and kept their vacuum. Then...After opening the bags to use the filament, none of the bags would reseal for the vacuum. None. Thus, these bags are, at best, SINGLE USE ONLY BAGS and therefore, very expensive!!! Better off investing in Sistema 5L containers or Yashe Cereal Storage containers.Bottom line is: these may be ONE USE ONLY bags, and as such, are very expensive! Much better alternatives: Yashe cereal boxes or Sistema boxes.
