I had to take a grinder to it to get the pot and lid to seal. A simple change to the mould would help it seal and keep the lid in place

The instructions clearly state this isn’t meant for out door use, but the title states it is for outdoor use.Otherwise, seems ok.

Im very pleased with this, its good quality and well made. You do need to season it properly and look after it. Its also quite small but perfect for what I use it for, (cooking on a rocket stove in a wood) the frying pan lid is really useful. I am expecting this set to last for ever and I regularly just wash it out, wipe it with veg oil and 'cook' it in a low oven to re season it, its developing a really nice patina now. I recommend getting some rubber handle covers for it which are really useful too.

Perfect for a 2 people household --- the small fry pan is perfect size for 2 eggs or a small pizza, and the pot itself is the perfect size to deep fry with lard or tallow. Also good for baking bread and many other uses. Also, it's not too heavy to handle either.Reviews here mentioned rust problems --- rust problems only occur if you wash the pot and then not season it again, or if you use excess salt or acidic foods. Usually I just scrub my cast iron items out with hot water and remove any grease residue with paper towels, dry the pan on a low flame and then ensure that the pan is all covered in a thin film of animal fat (avoid vegetable fat because that builds up sticky film), and I never use soap.If it does get rusty, look on the internet how to recondition your pan --- it's easy and there is almost never a reason to throw a cast iron item out.

Great heavy duty pan and saucepan. Intend for use on woodstove and barbecue.

I like how it looks, I like the food does not get burned or stuck to the pan because the heat is distributed evenly all over the bottom and sides of the set. Have learned that this pot likes to be seasoned,- did not know that it means : it has to be rubbed with oil after the wash. I love the size of it. because there are just 2 of us in the family I don't cook more then half of the pan. The price is surprisingly low especially if to take into consideration that you buy 2 products instead of one, Love it and happily recommend for buying.

Excellent cast iron pot. Food turns out tasty and well cooked. Great for lentil, curries, and casserole dishes. Cooks 3-4 portions.Clean and season/oil, the cast iron pot as instructed, and you will have no problems. Never leave to soak. Wash as soon as you have finished cooking. I put back in the oven (which is turned off, but still hot) for 5mins after washing and hand towel drying, to ensure it's thoroughly dry. Then I smear a little amount of olive oil, or coconut oil inside, and put back in the oven (still turned off, but hot) for a few mins to absorb. Then air dry/cool, and put away.

A good looking, solid bit of kit. Remember to look at the size in the advert. This is small, which suits me exactly for one person. I use it at home on a gas stove, or in the oven, and also for re-enactment on a charcoal fire. People have asked if I am demonstrating this pan set, because they want to buy one! Solid, heavy cast iron. Having the lid double up as a frying pan is a really neat trick. Like all cast iron, season it in the oven and keep it well clear of abrasives or dish washers. Old fashioned non-stick. Old fashioned slow cooker taste. Delighted.
