Rick Steves Pocket Paris Paperback – July 11, 2023

Rick Steves' books and shows are excellent resources for traveling. This is why his books are the only ones I look for just before planning a trip.This is the first time for a couple traveling with us to travel to Europe. I thought that giving them this pocket guide will give them an idea of what to expect. "Pocket" or not, this book has many useful tips and lots of colorful pictures. and even includes a map.I bought a pocket guide for each of the cities we will visit. And although we have been to these cities before, reading this book made us view those cities with fresh eyes. And thus, we have picked a few more places and activities to include on our tours.

This book covers all the bases for a trip to Paris - I plan to use it everyday while there!

great book

Paris is an old city and not friendly to folks with knee \ hip disabilities. Rick Steven's has a good overall book but be prepared to walk up\down stairs in most tourist attractions.

If you are looking for a pocket sized guide, this is it! Great removable foldout map with points of interest. Hidden gems and great info.

Very handy

We used this little guidebook on a recent trip to Paris.We stayed in one of the hotels Steve recommended (Maison Chomel),and the hotel staff said he'd actually stayed there with his film crew the week before we arrived. Recommend,
