Yes, the magnets are super strong so DO be careful to not get your fingers in between and don't put the two sides together without the spacer. But it needs to be that strong to deal with 25mm windows!I was extremely surprised how well this worked! sure, the outside part fell down sometimes, but I have windows that would be absolutely impossible to clean without this. So my kitchen window was absolutely filthy and this product with water and dishwashing soap actually cleaned it surprisingly easy and it even dried the window off really well! I'll gladly take a bit of fiddling and the outer part falling off sometimes for that! I've only used it once so far, I'm sure with practice the fiddling will reduce.

Dangerous, difficult to use, scratches your windows, and doesn't reach the windows that need it the most. The magnets are not strong enough, it's flimsy, awkward and a danger to your windows. If you don't want to break your windows don't buy it! The outside handle drops all the time and almost broke my windows or my downstairs neighbours windows! Be very careful the handles are hard plastic, very pointy and solid and would smash windows when falling. If there's a little speck of dirt on your outside window the wipers will drag it and scratch your windows.

So, I’ve used this for the first time yesterday and I want to say a few things.Firstly, I agree with everyone saying the magnets are really strong - they REALLY are. Be careful not to break the window especially with a single glazing window.Secondly, it’s very tough to move the product on a dry surface. The window needs to be soaped up on both sides for the product to slide at all. This makes it quite difficult to dry from the outside but I made it work.Overall it’s helped me to reach a bit of window from the outside which I wouldn’t be able to otherwise. However, if I were to use this to clean all my windows or regularly use it, I would find it extremely tough and frustrating in the long run. Perhaps it’s down to practice. Let’s see.

Long story short: it works pretty well if you have no alternative way of cleaning the outside of your windows.I live in a second floor flat where the windows don’t have that feature to open up fully to let you clean them properly so I bought this. After reading the reviews I knew to beware of the magnets but nothing could have prepared me for how strong they were!! I held them in separate hands and they still snapped together, trapping my finger and BREAKING MY 2 DAY OLD ACRYLIC NAIL - OUCH!!!!Nonetheless I found the device to work well with a solution of diluted fairy liquid. It did take some practice to get used to. However, after one use, the white sponge has come off the product and the clips won’t attach again. And the squeegee feature is really loose on one side of the device.I had a really hard to reach narrow window which it has done a good job on (the photos are showing it from the most undesirable angle). All of the windows needed touching up with a micro fibre cloth too.

I want to clean windows on a 4th floor apartment. This seemed like a good idea. They go together quite well and the magnets are strong. The safety chord is a must and I needed it when the two halves separated. Downside is that they don't clean the windows that well and very difficult to use in corners. Find something else to use instead of this.

Once you get the hang of these little babies, you'll be so happy you got this. I'm on the 2nd floor, with single glazed sash windows. My first window was a little difficult, as you can't really follow the directions easily. If you ever thought ikea diagrams were enigmatic, then these ones are an enigma wrapped in a mystery. The key is a) thoroughly soak both halves b) coat the scrubber surface in washing liquid (not too thick, but you need it to be slippery) c) reach through the window and attach the two sides d) put all the extra string through the window and then close it e) move the unit slowly to the top..then point the arrow to the corner - move it back and forth a bit then aim the arrow towards the other side and slowly move the unit to the opposite corner.. point into the corner to get it clean, then slowly turn the unit down - look where the squeegy is, they are cleaning up behind you. then slowly move the unit back and forth - always pushing it arrow first. when you turn at the end of a row, turn it by turning the arrow end down. overlap your last row by a third.When you get to the bottom of the window (always go from top to bottom) - in the last corner - turn the unit 90 degrees and the halves will separate. If you have sash windows, and the bottom is a long way from your access point - pull the string taut and try to be sure the outside half swings away from your window.- you may end up with a single soapy wet bit in one corner. if so, just try and reach it and dry it off.anyway.. Maybe these instructions aren't very clear - but I tell you this thing, once you've worked it out, is really a great device. I got a streak free, clean window (it was really dirty on the outside before) on my second try and it took all of 10 minutes for both sides of a big sash.- I recommend this !

Don't work at all . Kept falling off the window . Made a mess of them . And dont clean them at all .

I purchased this to clean the inside of my secondary glazed windows. There is a very narrow space between the secondary glazing and the main window and it is impossible to clean in the normal way. This cleaner did in fact fit in between the secondary glazing and the main window but I found it quite difficult to manipulate at times and the magnet didn't always hold. I tried to remove smear marks on the outside of the secondary glazing by inserting a cloth between the magnets but unfortunately it still left smear marks. Also the plastic wiper keeps falling out of the slot on the device. So all in all not a great success story but the windows do look a bit better than before. A good idea but unfortunately not quite up to it.

3 years of dirty apartment windows and now they are crystal clear. This is a great product that is easy to use and gets the job done.The magnet is very strong so be careful and follow instructions. It is no joke. You can damage or badly hurt a finger if you do not use the safety guard before locking together.

Cleaning is fine but leaving scratches on glass. My saint gobain glass got badly scratched will have to replace the glass. Good I tried in only one window.Does not advice to buy at all

The magnet is really, really strong, which at first seems amazing, but then in reality it means it's not only dangerous for your fingers, but also extremely hard to move it while on the window. It doesn't slide smoothly and the rubber whicih is supposed to wipe out the water is a bit hard, which may damage the glass. Not good AT ALL. Poroduct returned.
