Good, but I have issues
I have had a Runtastic Orbit for exactly a year. I have thoroughly enjoyed using it and I've found that with it connected to my phone during runs it is accurate in its distances. Not so good with regards to playing squash as it doesn't really track your movements and as it doesn't have a heart rate monitor built in it does not monitor how much effort one is putting into your game. I have not tried it with swimming as I am not sure how it would track your swimming distances when the phone it connects to us sitting in one spot.My reason for 3 star is this: the screen on my first Runtastic Orbit watch which I received just over a year ago never worked from day one. I could return it with no issues and received a full refund from the shop as they were then out of stock. Now a year later (to the date of ordering my Runtastic Orbit on Amazon) the screen stops working. It briefly started working again the next day but within hours had given up. I have been swimming a lot with it as it's waterproof but wonder if this is the issue.I have reported the issue to Runtastic (not very easy to do as you have to look at possible issues, then vote helpful or not and then you can submit a problem/report). I have received a reply from them and I can send the watch to Austria for them to look into the issue.I just wonder why two watches have had screen issues?

Good, but less features compared to others
The band is good and it is the cheapest way to entry data on the runstastic app, but compared to other smartbands in the same price range it gives less features

Disappointing
This worked moderately well for a couple of weeks then abruptly stopped working for no apparent reason. Had it not done so, I would have given it another star. I didn't like the excessive packaging which contains a lot of hard plastic bits which cannot be recycled but the product itself seemed quite good. The variety of bands and clip were welcome, as was the waterproofing. Unfortunately the required runtastic.me app was disappointing, as it was hit and miss when t came to syncing and only shows day to day stats, with no weekly let alone monthly aggregated stats. Inexplicably, the data is not saved to the Runtastic web page, so it resides on your phone and nowhere else. The hunt for the perfect tracker continues... so far the Fitbit One seems to be the best of the bunch.Update:the hunt seems to have ended with my acquisition of the Fitbit Charge :-)

Disappoints.
Well I read the reviews(and there are comments about inaccuarcy of steps...)...I researched and decided for the price and functions it was worth a look-see.Set it up this morning..straight forward enough - even for a technophobe like myself...fits well on the wrist(female with a small wrist - the strap had 2 notches left on it after almost going all the way around.. so there was a lot of spare strap)...comfortable...the sleep facility is easy to use although the buzzer is a little 'crude'- that's the pro's...the con's- I got in the shower and it said I'd done 80 steps already which I thought was fair enough but after x 1 step (which was into the shower) I came out and I'd done 222...work that one out...nope..I couldn't either which is why its going straight back for a refund. I don't mind a little inaccuarcy but that's just ridiculous. Looks like I'll have to continue my search....

Beats fitbug hands down!
I have been using the Runtastic road bike and running apps for over two years now, but always thought the wearables were way out of my price range, so i was using a fitbug which proved a bit clunky when it came to putting all my daily activities together in one place. My fitbug broke recently and while shopping around i came across this orbit on Amazon. Initially I was very suspicious why it was so cheap, and the reviews seemed very mixed, but i gave it a go. It arrived the next working day, very well packaged all with original boxing.I have been using it for 4 days now, and i have to say it's fantastic!! I charged it up, downloaded the Runtastic me app and it automatically synced up to my other Runtastic apps. I have found it to be very easy to use, accurate and i have the benefit of having all my activity data in one place. The sleep tracker is a million times more accurate than fitbug was and so far i have not had any problems uploading steps or activities which would happen with fitbug often.I like the display and notification options, and it is very comfortable to wear, and comes with a handy clip which i can use for aerobic sessions. Would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of buying this.

Pleased with my activity tracker
For the price I paid, this is an excellent piece of kit and does everything I need it to do. If you aren't bothered about having HR or GPS built in then I think this tracker is a great option. It's not the most stylish of trackers but certainly isn't ugly. There's no worry of the tracker falling out of the wrist band and there is ample adjustment on the strap. Its big advantages are that it's waterproof and also has a nice simple display. The button on the tracker scrolls through time, steps, calories and active minutes. It links to a nice simple app which is customisable for different steps and active minutes. It can track sleep quality- it's not automatic so you have to remember to long press the button...but that is ok. The tracker will let you know if you have forgotten to switch sleep mode off. It will also let you know if you've sat on your backside for too long and this is customisable (I have mine set to 15 mins). The tracker also links to the runtastic app- handy if you already use this app. I think the tracker has definitely motivated me to be more active. There are much more sophisticated trackers available but for the current price this is an excellent choice.

for the price, it's well worth it
Not bad. The fact that you can swim with it on is a real advantage over many fitness trackers. Working in conjunction with the app, it does give you a reasonably accurate report of your daily activity. It is fairly insipid in terms of any other feature, but it is chiefly a fitness tracker, so that is forgivable. The strap is comfortable and the belt clip holder actually holds the device in place should you elect to use it.
