Woild it work in an urban area? we live in london uk

Yes. We live in the countryside in the UK and find the signal does bounce off buildings and even trees when the animal is at a distance, but it will give you the general direction and as you get closer and the signal strength increases it starts to get very directionally accurate. One of our cats often gets up to 2 k from home and without the Marco Polo we’d never find her. It’s better than GPS, because it’s radio it works through windows and thinner walls. So, if your animal was in a building radio’s a better bet. Couldn’t recommend more. Good luck

Does it come with a UK adapter?

It doesnt need an adapter as it uses micro USB. Just plug it into a USB charger!

What would the range be like in woodland?

the signal in woodland/forest is intermittent so it is hard to tell the range. Also purchased the Marco Polo less than a month ago and I need a new transmitter holder. Amazon do not sell spare parts so will have to e mail the company direct.
