Q: I'm planning to use it in an rv, so, how many amps or watts consume? description says "low energy" but hiw much is it?

It does not list amps but is 20 watts

Q: Would kefir and yogurt temperature setting the same?

I have only made kefir at room temperature, not with a machine, so I don't know.

Q: Should the straining process occur in the refrigerator?

Not necessarily. When my yogurt is ready I dump it into a cheese cloth lined strainer over a bowl and let it sit on the counter for approximately 1 hour, then place in the refrigerator

Q: I received the strainer as a gift. Wish it had a 2nd container with it. Any idea where I can get a 2nd container?

The only thing I received with mine is the heating element, a pot to mix the ingredients M And a lid. I bought a mesh bag and put that. In a colunder to drain. You can get a colunder at Walmart. Hope this helps
