Plastic quality is good and shooting distance and force is good. Trigger lock safe switch and reload option is great

Compact, but powerful...just what every Nerf collector wants.I ordered two units and both arrived in a timely manner and in excellent condition.The instructions were clear and easy to follow to get the pistol setup, the included safety glasses are a must in enclosed areas or with children.I wish it had an auto function instead of the single shot, but understand that fitting those mechanics into a small blaster type pistol at this price point is just not practical. Plus, if you want the full auto experience, the Impulse 40 does have a bigger brother...or two!Highly recommend if your are sick of the Nerf foam dart offerings and you are in the market for a new tool in your armoury.

I had bought this as a disciplinary tool for my new kitten. Warning do not shoot your cat with this Nerf gun it might send him to the Valhalla of nine lives this thing shoots at about the rate of 100 ft per second which doesn't seem very fast but the little Nerf balls that come out of it are pretty decent like soft rubber and they kind of sting a little bit. So in retrospect unless you want to kill your cat I probably wouldn't shoot him with this but it is a fun gun.
