Good buy.
Bought for person with arthritic hands. Really helped with clarity of writing and signature. Quite comfortable to use for non arthritic hands as well.

Good idea, but not for us
I want to say it's a great pen and go buy it - however, my son could not get to grips with it. This was recommended by Occupational therapy for my teen who has mild CP but he does find fine motor difficult, and whilst he can type perfectly (and way faster than me) he does struggle with a pen when writing a lot and he frequently drops the pen as his hand tires. So this pen sounded like it could be a good idea and I ordered it. Although initially he said it was good, later the same day he was back to doing his work with a normal pen. Turns out it just felt a bit unatural holding this pen, and he preferred using his regular pen with and without a pen grip over this. However, I can see how it could help people and would hate to put someone off trying it just because my son could not get into the very different finger placement needed to use this pen.

Works for lady with arthritic hands
Mum uses this and says it’s much easier for her to write with than with an ordinary pen, which slips and she drops it. It comes with 2 refills and I would buy one again.

Not for me
This pen is no use to me, but my husband who has Parkinson's finds it excellent. So well worth a try if you have difficulty holding an ordinary pen.

Does the job well
I bought this for a friend with arthritic hands, and she can’t hold a pen or a knife and fork, but she can write with this. It seems fairly sturdy too.

A new style of pen that I hope won’t stop me writing…
Nice, comfortable pen. It will take a little getting used to, but I it doesn’t give me the pain I suffer horribly from with ordinary pens. Looking forward to see how I get on with this. There is only one other pen I do get on with very well, but I can still only write for so long before getting the pain in my finger next to the little finger. This pain cuts out using this finger so I remain optimistic this will solve all my problems when writing, which I love to do.

surprisingly comfortable to write with!
recommended by occupational therapist. Unusual needs a totally different way of holding a pen... but it works and feels good to write with. My 12year son who it was brought for loves it and finds that his hand doesn’t hurt so much when he uses it. can be used comfortably by children and adults.Word of warning though, tell the teachers it is a special hand writing pen as most of them don’t allow ‘fun’ pens to be used in lessons!!!
