Yes, check the Nikon website for length, probably 10 years. I have just purchased the Aculons 7x35 and 8x42 and they are absolutely pin sharp. Unless you want waterproofing, I think the Aculons are better than the EX's.

Can you please tell me where the binocular is made? (12X50 action ex)

According to the box, made in China for Nikon. I am very happy with mine very good optics and very powerful, I am an aircraft enthusiast and they are superb for this.

I can't compare these to the aculon range but compared to other binoculars that I've owned they are very good. The 12x50's can be difficult to keep steady so I use them on a monopod, great views. I'm glad I bought them.
