Q: do the speakers have to be wired together or can they connect wirelessly?

These used together have to be wired. But using the right speaker can be used in mono mode and used as a single speaker with a battery pack that Ruark do sell. You can use them both wireless with a battery pack but the speakers have to be connected together via the cable provided for both of them to work

Q: Can the feet be removed if wall mounting the speakers?

Yes, the feet are attached with screws so can be removed. However, that it not the problem for wall mounting. The leads plug into the back, you will need a gap of about 30mm, so they cannot be flush against a wall. That aside they are great speakers that I am very happy with.

Q: How are they compared to a hompod or Sonos ? And can they be used as a sound bar for tv. Thanks

Don’t know about home pod but I think they sound much better than my Sonos 1 which I am always a bit disappointed in there audio quality. They can work as stereo sounds from a Tv but don’t have any surround sound capabilities.

Q: are these speakers stereo or 2 x mono?

They are a stereo pair when connected together, or the active unit can be run mono in isolation.
