Excellent ideas but sooo repetitive and long-winded. Examples rather too few. Some attempt at lightness and humour but tries too hard. Would be a good classroom guide when tackled in short doses, but as a book gives indigestion. Author should practise the terseness of expression he describes learning at Exeter College, Oxford.
