Good things come in small packages.
I was shocked by the high quality of this vice, it's better than other vices I've seen costing twice as much and they even give you nuts and bolts to install it on your bench or table! It's 4.5 inches and weighs 12 pounds works smoothly with no undue force and is just the right size for those little pesky jobs that don't need massive jaws and the weight of a truck. It's precisely what I wanted and the price is so low I ordered it at once incase it was a price misprint.

Great quality
Excellent Vise. Very good quality and smooth movement on all swivels and tightening levers. Great deal. Lowes sells the exact same on but its not in stock, need to order.

Very satisfied. Came well packaged (Fed Ex proof). Great price. Looks great. I would recommend. Purchased a similar John Deere brand recently and paid 3 times the price for lower quality. Of corse all this stuff is made in China....

Well made, strong and easy to install
Very sturdy, well made and overall a great price. My only gripe is the smaller tightener on the side that controls the swivel of the vice. It's very thin, so getting it tightened and then loosened again can literally be kind of painful. That tightener should have been a little thicker in my opinion or perhaps a different type of tightener altogether.But in terms of performance and build, it's awesome. I bought this specifically for re-gripping my golf clubs which is does very well with but soon realized it's going to be a general good addition to my workshop. It's built like a tank.

Excellent value for the price.
I have just begun to use the vise, but it was an excellent buy. I did not find a coating of grease as some reviews talked about. I found no flaws in the metal surface or the angle of the clamping surfaces. The magnetic covers for the jaws are excellent for use with softer materials. It was shipped in a cardboard box of sufficient strength for such a heavy object.
