This camera/monitor works great! I bought two and the screen is clear, the camera is mountable if desired and the added feature of pushing a button on the monitor to speak through the camera to your child is great! Plus the camera has the ability to turn and scan the room as needed and a zoom feature! I have had these camera/monitor sets for three years and they are still working as great as the day I purchased them.

I was looking for a monitor that's not connected to WiFi and is easy to bring around, and I've been happy with this one! It's easy to use, and it's great that I can monitor the room temperature through it as well. The customer service is excellent; we lost the charging cord during a move, and they kindly sent us a replacement

We love how simple this monitor is to use (for grandparents too) but still really full featured. Temperature sensor, adjustable volume, and visual noise level are great to have. Most importantly when the WiFi went out yesterday this kept working for us with no hiccups since it doesn’t need WiFi. Has great range as well - working all over our house and into the yard.

Our previous budget/basic monitor of a different brand finally died and we replaced it. Overall, this HelloBaby monitor meets our needs. The screen and resolution are much better than our previous brand/model. Only one major complaint: you cannot adjust the volume with buttons on the front of the parent unit. You have to first click into a menu that is shown on yhe screen, then choose volume, and then adjust the volume from there. Our previous parent-unit had volume buttons right on the front along with a mute button, and I’m finding myself very much missing that feature. It’s annoying enough that I might not buy this monitor if I were doing it all over again, but not quite annoying enough to return and start my research from scratch.

love this monitor! bought it for my grandchildren. great price and no wi-fi. picture is in color and super clear. sound is great. love the size of the monitor and the screen stand. camera is adjustable. would highly recommend

Plug in to a/c both halves of the monitor - they automatically connect. We are using it with an approximate 40' split, through three walls. Picture is color and audio is a bit tinny, but that is to be expected. Night vision is OK. We have not yet reached the end of the battery life in the receiver, so no news there. Tilt, scan, zoom are OK.

I’m so skeptical of good reviews after having used this product myself. I knew it was a toss-up for the price but was willing to give it a chance. I purchased this as a secondary monitor, so I wasn’t being picky. We already have a very expensive, top notch InfantOptics monitor that we love but keep it in the baby’s nursery. He’s not quite ready to sleep in his crib at night yet, so we wanted a cheap monitor for our bedroom, too. We didn’t need it to do all the things. The most important features to me are probably no wifi, the ability to turn/rotate the camera remotely, and night vision. This HB monitor does have all of that, but with bare minimum performance in each category. The video monitor is junk. The UI is so clunky and dated it reminds me of an old Nokia cell phone. The live video kept lagging, chugging, and freezing. Picture quality was decent, even so. But the screen on the monitor would periodically glitch out and freeze. I couldn’t believe I was having issues with signal even though I was just down a short hallway in the living room from my bedroom. My house is fairly open concept, so not a lot of walls between. I was using my PS5 at the time, and I think I saw another reviewer mention their monitor quit working after they bought a PlayStation. Not sure if that is related, but my other baby monitor has no issues when my PlayStation is on, so this is not acceptable, either way. Another con worth mentioning is that I discovered through extensive research how HappyBaby monitors are incompatible with most universal baby monitor mounts due to their weird proprietary mounting parts, which is a major inconvenience. You can’t simply screw a universal mount into the bottom of the HappyBaby cameras as you can with most baby monitor cameras. I would have had to purchase an adapter for this, in addition to a mount. All of the extra spending would have negated the point of choosing such an inexpensive monitor in the first place. I was willing to give wall mounting a try because I read in reviews that mounting hardware is included with this, even though I couldn’t find that info anywhere in the product description to confirm. I had my husband box it back up before we got to that point and we just moved our IO monitor into the bedroom. Mainly due to the unreliable video feed, I can’t recommend this monitor to anyone even as a backup.

This is a great affordable option for a non-wifi monitor. Not only does it not use WiFi, it is super easy to set up- very user friendly.You can also monitor the temperature, which is especially handy during those summer months(we’re in Texas and the weather fluctuates daily), or during those cold winter nights when different areas of your house vary in temperature.We can also talk to our child back and forth- my favorite feature! Also while traveling, we’re able to bring it with us for a peace of mind since it’s simply just plugging stuff in and no need for wifi.
