One hand driving
Works great. I like the cruise control feature a lot. The beeping can be annoying but eveenoi managed to ignore it. I feel it has good trigger response. I'd recommend for sure if you like to video and crawl easily.

Exactly what I was looking for!!
This transmitter is great! It's exactly what I was looking for. I like to film my rc rock crawlers which is difficult with a traditional transmitter but this makes it so much easier! I was worried the joystick wouldn't provide very easy control over the steering but it works really well! It definitely feels cheap but I don't care about that personally because well, it is cheap haha. The only thing I really don't like is the beeping. The startup sounds and all the beeps on it is really annoying. But I didn't take any stars off for that because it doesnt change the functionality and the convince it gives me far outweighs the annoying beeps.

Is this wireless or does it just not include cables?
I'd love to tell you how it went, the first run with my robot, but I can't because it still hasn't happened. Everything was ready to go and then BAM! Showstopper:Get this, the mfg is so friggin cheap that they do not include the cables to attach the receiver to the rig. For real, they don't come with it.That's fine, I'll spend this extra time and energy on the analysis of the handset, find out how big a piece of crap THAT might be... You know, build a fair and objective review on the solid foundation of raw frustration over that whole cable fiasco. They don't include the cables for the receiver. Did I mention that? The first pinch and poke had the feel and texture of a lightweight 3d print made with genuine dogshit filament. But wait, theres more! The main key for the thumb only does X (left/right). Y is done with the trigger. In the mfg's defense, that was clearly published and I didn't read it. That's on me.I can't hit the DPad with my thumb without pushing X left. At least not with my massive hands. Maybe smaller hands like yours will have more luc... Wait, no, that doesn't make sense. My hands are probably bigger than your feet and I have to use my left hand on the DPad. That makes this a 2-handed controller.Since I couldn't actually use it and test it, I read the documentation. And THIS is where things started turning around. The adjustable 'stroke' wasn't expected and I'm really happy to have it. Interesting, this little hanjob might get the whole job done, even if my rig is based on a single XY stick. But even so, I still can't get past the whole cable thing.Look, I get "running leaner". I get trimming fat. I even understand cutting corners when the corner is safe to cut but not providing the receiver cables? No, that cable is a very important corner and it looks like it was hacked off by a half drunk blind guy with a dull hatchet. How many "Ones of dollars" has this saved the company? 8? 10? 17? How's viable is your future looking when a 37 cent cable is too expensive for your company to make?

Seems okay
I like it. Instructions suck since they're poorly translated from Chinese so you'll have to hope you can interprit the wording right.Plastic feels very cheap, though unsuprised for the price, which is actually not bad for the features it has, namly all the channel buttons and crap. You'll haver to dig online to find more recievers, theyre not on amazon from what I could find, the're on actual RC sites like the old days.3/5, would reccomend.

Pretty cool if you want a free had to hold a camera
This is a great idea if you make solo videos of your RC cars. Leaves a hand free for holding a camera on a pole and doing follow/chase videos. Takes a little getting used to, steering with your thumb and the throttle trigger seems a little touchy, could be a little smoother or have a little more throw, but overall very fun. The cruise control feature is also very cool. Good idea, good product.
