I give this 5 stars it is so easy to operate. I wanted something for my Christmas lights so I don't have to go outside in the cold weather. After setting the time it turns on at 5 pm and shuts off at 10:30 pm. So if you're looking for a digital timer this is the way to go.

So easy to set timing, some battery backup, and outdoor friendly. Where have these been all my life.

I recently purchased my first Lava Lamp and learned I needed to avoid running it too little (not giving the lava enough time to fully soften) or too much (overheating the lava). This timer let me automatically turn the lamp on in the afternoon so that it looked great by evening, while making sure I didn't forget to turn it off at night. Setup was easy and it works great.

The product seems fairly straightforward, and the instructions are limited, but simple. This, however, did not keep me from not being able to troubleshoot why my lights weren't turning on after I had set the timers as stated in the instructions. I went to the website to see if they had troubleshooting help, and there were nothing for this item. I then decided to send a support request through their contact form, only to be then told to call their customer support.I work in technical support. I know that most devices have a few standard troubleshooting steps for basic issues, mostly being undocumented issues that assume specific use that not all customers share. This is why FAQs and a basic troubleshooting document is included for so many items (think about it, loads of consumer appliances have this, toasters, blenders, washing machines, dishwashers, etc. all have this in their manuals.) Luckily, I was able to figure it out on my own, but the lack of documentation (in this case, the information to set the "ON" time for after the current time as registered on the device) for basic troubleshooting was disappointing.

4 THINGS THAT MAKE THIS INCONVENIENT1- If you are programming this within the time limit you want it to come on, it will not turn on until the activation time comes back around.2- If time 2- off is within time 1 parameters it will over ride time 1 and shut off.3- There is no actual override feature so if you need to turn something on outside of the program you have to change times or plug into a different outlet. I tried to use timer #2 to have it come on earlier one day and that is how I discovered item #2.4- Would be nice if this lit up when you push the buttons, if it is in a cabinet as mine is it is difficult to read. This would not be that big a deal to me if I did not have other issues with it.I will say that the actual programming is not that difficult so at least it has that going for it.I would have sent this back if, but it took me a few weeks to get it out of the package and start using it so I am out side of the return time range, that is on me.

Do you hate setting alarms to turn your...uh...tomato's lights on? Forget to do it and ruin crops? Well, look no more! This timer is great as it has 2 time settings! Swap between the 2 for whatever the reasoning may be... Only one outlet but I connected a breaker bar (DISCLAIMER: Probably not safe, IT ISN'T!, but YOLO, right?) for a few more outlets! Pretty blue LED lights and LED screen with time and all kinds of functions I have no idea how to use! It's wonderful! I just thought the lights were perty...along with the timer's features of course! You will NOT regret this purchase, I swear!

Very easy to use and set up. It has an internal battery as it was on right out of the box. I didn't expect that. I set the current time with just a few clicks of the buttons and then I was able to easily set the evening and mourning ranges for when I wanted my lights to come on. Super easy could not be more pleased.

I have this plugged in on my porch out of the weather but attached to my birdbath fountain outside. I have it set to come on in the morning and go off at night and it has been accurate. I love that I can control the fountain to not run all night using power when no one is enjoying it. It has been perfect!
