Absolute lifesaver
So all of a sudden out of nowhere I ended up with Foot Drop, which is where you lose strength in your anterior tibialis, which then leads to you not being able to walk normally because you can't flex your foot normally. I got this with some 5lb plates, and combined with the use of an electrical stimulation device (FlexDoctor from ArpWave) I'm on the road to recovery. So glad I came across this thing. It's perfect because it allows me to isolate the one leg that was affected. I would recommend to anyone

10 stars
I already own a tib pro style trainer, but this is my first tib solo. I have used it several times already and can’t believe how much better it feels to train one tib at a time. I will keep my tib pro because I use it for makeshift leg extensions, but I will be doing all of my tib training with the tib solo. This product is very comfortable, easy to adjust and appears to be very sturdy/capable of handling significant weight. If you are an athlete and don’t train your tibs…please start. Thanks for an excellent product!

Easy to carry into the gym
This thing is awesome. It’s not too big or heavy. It feels durable and gets my tibs on fire. If you have smaller calves and need as much size as possible on the lower leg, this can help a lot.

Awkward
Well built and sturdy, but it’s awkward to use for me. It feels easy to twist my ankle. I purchased a normal tib bar as well because this one didn’t feel that safe for basic ankle raises.

Might be uncomfortable till you get used to it (Updated Review).
I already have a tibialis bar for both feet, and I must say I prefer that one over this one, which is for a single leg. This tibialis trainer has several positives: it is solidly built, comes with a foot adjustment, and all Olympic collars I have fit on the bar and held weights just fine. One nice thing about one foot at a time is that it is easier to stabilize your leg/calf on a bench -- so it doesn't feel like you're doing an isometric leg extension.Of course, there are some negatives too. It comes with a cheap plastic collar, but I have better ones on hand that fit so that's OK. The foot adjustment is annoying and makes this trainer clink and clank a lot. I also can't get my feet into a very comfortable position when I have shoes on. I tried barefoot, and indeed I can get into a more comfortable position, but you can't tighten the trainer far enough, so when barefoot, it feels really sloppy. And one last negative... but this is not really a problem with the trainer -- but more or less a problem with human anatomy. The ankle isn't the most stable joint on your body, and when doing this with a single foot at a time, if your ankle starts rotating for whatever reason, it is really hard to recover unless you have a training partner. I only put on 10 lbs., so when my ankle rotated, I was generally able to put it back, but if I had 25 lbs. or 30 lbs. on it, I don't think I could recover. I felt worried that one wrong move and I could twist my ankles using this -- and have my knees twist along with it. Maybe time and experience will help me control it, but I prefer the stability of my other two-footed tibialis bar.I might use this for the hip flexors instead though! I felt stable doing knee raises with this, which is something you can't do with the two-footed bar.UPDATE 2023: After using the device for several weeks now, I have gotten used to doing the exercise and don't really feel too unstable anymore -- so I increased my rating to 4-stars. With any new exercise, you can feel uncomfortable initially, and thus it was so for me. I actually prefer using the single leg version now.

Very well built
What I like about it is that you can focus on one leg at a time and really feel it work.

Good Quality and a Couple Surprises
This tib bar looks like commercial gym quality, but I would expect that at this price. All the other tib bars I've seen are two foot models so this one, being for one foot is unique.I've been using one of the standard two foot tib bars for awhile. When I used this one foot version I was surprised to find it offered some muscle activation that I wasn't getting with the two foot tib bars. With two foot tib bars, you have a wide base so the weight doesn't roll as you tib curl. With this one foot bar, the weight and your foot wants to tilt left or right so you have to engage stabilizer muscles to keep your foot from rolling during the tib curl. The difference between a two foot tib bar and this one foot version is similar to the difference between a barbell bench press and a dumbbell bench press. One nice thing about the TibSolo is you can superset tib curls with hip flexor raises. I don't always want to superset, but sometimes it is a nice way to shake up the workout routine. One thing that surprised me is the width of the TibSolo is adjustable. There is a big hex knob on one side. Turning that knob adjusts the width so you can make it a snug fit for your foot if you choose. The padding on this thing is really thick. I could do tib curls barefoot if I wanted.

Strong Single Foot Tib Bar
This thing is built like a tank. It weighs about 5lbs unloaded. It can easily hold the stated weight of 100lbs though i doubt many people have tibs that can handle this much weight. The collar it comes with is not my favorite, it has a locking mechanism that requires some fine finger manipulation at an awkward angle to unlock. That said, i have other collars and most people are probably not buying this bar because of the quality of the collar.I have a wide foot and this thing accommodates me with a gym shoe great. It works ok barefoot as well with adequate padding although it does get a little too cold for bare feet in the winter. It can easily adjust to a range of wider and narrower configurations so i would expect this to fit comfortably for most people.Probably the only major downside is that you probably need to buy two so you can train both sides simultaneously. If you are ok with doing only one foot at a time or are willing to buy two of them these are a great option.
