Trangia 27 Cookset With Kettle & Spirit Burner,Silver

I had to write a review on this because it is simply the best stove to use while camping. Me and my brother went on a three day wild camp/hike I used this to cook all my meals while he used a gas one, but we both used this for hot drinks and believe me I drink a lot of tea, the kettle although small holds 2x mug fulls maybe a little more so ample for two.The boil/cook times are in my opinion very fast some people may disagree, my brother was aslo very impressed with the cook times and efficiency of the cookset.I didn't use the frypan so can't comment on sticking but it did make an excellent tea tray and dog water/food dish😀.The fuel I used was bioethinol and again very impressed with fuel consumption don't think I could have used more if I tried as I drank tea and ate hot meals as if I was at home maybe even more!One thing I would like to add that not many people mention is that because the fuel isn't in a windowless container like gas so you can see how much you have left so no risk of taking your quarter full gas canister and running out of fuel.As for the weight you have to add however much fuel your taking and for me because we were hiking mountains weight was quite an issue it not much heavier than most decent FULL cooksets, that said its all self contained and yes their are lighter cooksets out there but in my opinion non better than this, its like having a full kitchen in the great outdoors.

Not a bad word to say about Triangia. This is what happens when GENUINE manufactures sell their products on amazon. No issues, no quality problems. Just great, reliable very well made products.The sooner amazon flushes out the glut of terrible sellers, the better.

I have an old 27 meth style that was passed down from my grandad. Must be 45 years old at least. Still works as good as new. Sure, I replaced the meth burner and upgraded to the new style of frying pan but the base unit is solid. Pans are a bit bashed up but it still all fits together. This new one (meth style again) is not a replacement, but an addition. I expect them to both be going strong for another 50 years. Not as fast as gas to boil water, that is the only downside. But if you can’t wait an extra couple of minutes in the countryside as your water boils there is no helping you

Favourite cooker set up ever! Until one day the pot just melted into the flame!!!! I couldn’t believe it. Is this normal?!

Yeah it's pretty nice. The frying pan can be a dog to clean but it's probably my fault for burning my steak.

Had this now about six months and used it throughout the season. Took it on two solo 7 day treks wild camping all the way and it proved its worth, not the lightest but certainly up there with the best. Convenient, stable and reliable, fuel readily available from many outlets. If there's more than one of you then I would advise getting the bigger version but for solo its the bees knees. Highly recommended.

I bought this for my 8 years old son. He loves it so much that we are using it everyday to warm his milk!!!I liked the solid construction of the burner (brass), with the screw lid and the o-ring that sits perfect and avoids spills , when you store it with fuel left in.I would recommend it to campers due to its low volume, lightweight properties.I am thinking about buying a second one!

Bought this as a present. I have used other brands but Trangia is by far the best make. Its well made light. Much more compact and light. Works so well. Always take this when we are hiking and camping etc. My son loves this so much. Pay a bit more and buy trangia.
