I read all the reviews on this seat with a bit of trepidation - yes, there are a lot of 5 star reviews, but if there are more than a handful of lesser starred ones, I do like to be a bit cautious.I bought 2 of these seats and I have to say I'm really impressed. No, they're not quite as solid as a 'normal' plastic toilet seat, but they are still sturdy and they are good quality. Also the shape, especially of the child seat, is quite aesthetically pleasing - very rounded. It's also very well designed, compared with non-fixed child toilet seats that feel insecure, as if they child will fall down the pan.In response to those who said they slipped around everywhere - they just take a lot of screwing into place (with the provided screw things), that's all. More than you'd think - you keep turning the thing and assuming it's no longer actually getting tighter, but it is. Our seats are extremely steady now and don't slip around even when adults sit.The instructions were very confusing as they used names for the parts that didn't really match what they were - go by the picture instead. But still, it only took 20 minutes to undo the old seat and fit these.I found the lid and the child seat are fairly stiff (so won't fall down if you do push them up far enough, though it does take a push to do so). But that's not a great irritation. I'm very glad I did buy them in the end as they're by far the best solution to toilet-training I've found so far.

I was dreading fitting this after reading the reviews but after taking a good look at the pictures on the instructions and grasping something of what they said (they are appalling) I got the grasp of what was required.1. Remove the washer and bolts from the rubber plugs. Push the rubber plugs through the holes in the toilet (where you’ve removed the bolts from your old seat from). The thread on the plug should now be under the toilet not on the top.2. Remove the fitting from the back of the new seat. You do this by making sure it is unlocked (the catch at the top) and sliding it off.3. Place it on your toilet seat then screw in the bolts. (You can slide this fitting back and forth to make a better fit on your seat I tried a couple of positions to get it right).4. Slide the seat onto the fitting and lock using the catch.I’ve attached a couple of photos if they help. Number one is the fitting with washers and bolts from the top and the second is the rubber plug from underneath.It also came with a more traditional fitting (see third photo) so if the rubber plugs fail I’m going to use this.The seat seems sturdy and good quality and it means my little girl doesn’t have to keep taking off a removable seat whilst my youngest is training. So I’m pleased with the product and don’t let the fitting review out you off.

Good value for money compared to other family toilet seats. Quality is good, whether it stands the test of time, only time will tell. Lifting the toddler and cover seat is a bit stiff, it doesn’t lay flat into the cover but that’s not a massive issue. The surface is glossy rather than matt. We’ve tested it on our LO and they sit on it quite well.There have been a lot of complaints on the instructions. It’s true they aren’t the best but I have seen worse and frankly I doubt we’d do any better translating for other languages either. If in doubt do look at YouTube for visual instructions, but fixing the toilet seat is quite straightforward. I was lucky as the parts arrived almost fully assembled whilst the instructions covered assembling all the parts from scratch.Also worth noting that there are two sets of fixtures depending on whether the toilet seat is fixed from top or underneath the unit. As some of us are complete rookies, one didn’t know that and spent half an hour trying to attach parts to the wrong setting! In this sense maybe pictorial instructions would’ve been useful to differentiate between the two.All in all a good buy and would recommend.

This is a great product, easy to install and works perfectly. Both seats stay up and the smaller toddler seat is perfect for my little girls bottom! The lid is strong but not heavy so she can lift it herself and as being soft close means no worry on my part with getting fingers trapped. I was looking for a family toilet seat as the put on/take off trainer seats move and meant one of us still needed to be with our little girl to help put it on the seat, keep it from moving and take it off when finished; now she can do evereything herself and we're close by just in case she needs help. Now I have a product that she can use and I'm very happy with we can start to progress to having dry nights as I know she will be able to go to the toilet all by herself.Love it so much that I'm buying 2 more for the other toilets in the house - fantastic!

I researched these family toilet seats as I felt it was time my little on ditched the potty and ventured onto the "big boy toilet" something he was scared of as he had to balance on the edge of the seat.I was a bit disappointed to be sent the normal toilet seat instead of the Family one and requested a return and refund. I didn't want to buy it again only to be sent the wrong seat again. However the company contacted me within 24 hours and after me sending photos of the wrong products, they sent out a new one straight away. They were polite and efficient.The seat was easy to fit, sturdy and looks good. My little one loves it and now uses the toilet 90% of the time.Would definitely recommend 👌

Quick and easy to fitAlthough after a few months of children using it it can loosen quite considerably.With the fixings being plastic they are wipe clean but can't be tightened up enough to prevent movement.Some rough edges on the plastic finishing but good value for money and saves extra addons being kept in the bathroom unnecessarily
