Nice espresso cups! Thick and heavy while at the same time graceful. I ordered the black glaze and LOVE the texture. I think these will be more durable than the typical double walled cups. But since they are solid, they should probably be pre-warmed prior to pulling an espresso shot.

We ordered the blue style cups but got the white ones. Not a big deal since we were on the fence between the two but the inside is already stained slightly after the first cappuccino.Overall the cup is nice and heavy, the handle seems attached well enough and the saucer sits flat on the countertop. The finish and color are close to the photos.The advertising is a bit misleading, Italian "style" but made in China. I was looking forward to the novelty of Italian made cappuccino cups.

Perfect size! Great German quality and it shows

Quite pleased with the cups. the stoneware is relatively thick, and the overall impression is that this is a quality cup with a slightly rustic/handmade feel. Espresso cups easily hold a double shot, and are wide enough that you can brew directly into the cup while using a double spout portafilter. The handles are large and substantial, so it's comfortable to hold, and you can fit an index finger into the handle using a index finger/thumb grip, so it's stable to use. The saucers are also equally substantial. I liked them enough to purchase an additional set of 4, plus the cappuccino cups. A bit expensive, but significantly higher quality than other sets I've seen.

Demi! Sometimes you just need a sip! These are a beautiful color combo.
