Adventure Time: Season 1 [DVD] [2010] [2013]

Bought for my daughter who loves Adventure Time. She loved it. Her only criticism was that there weren't enough episodes. Order season 2, problem solved.

This is currently one of the most bizarre and surreal programmes out there and along with The Regular Show and The Amazing World Of Gumball ensures the Cartoon Network is on all day in our house. The kids and myself are over the moon to know that the first season is going to be available in the UK and had no hesitation pre-ordering it (Seasons 1&2 are also available now in the USA). It has to be watched just to see how genius it actually is, a human boy called Finn and his adoptive brother Jake who just happens to be a magic, talking dog! Brilliant!

Brilliant. Just brilliant. If you have never watched the show beforehand then it does take along time to understand the humor but even when you get the humour there is so much to watch (like a waving snail in each episode, background details and more) so it is a must have but either watch the show beforehand or keep watching the dvd but it's that good.

The best season in my opinion, so silly but also there are more references to current affairs (adventure time stylee obviously) than any of the other seasons, i assume they got told off and had to stick to general Land of Ooo Adventures after this season! :-)

It's good that complete season one of Adventure Time came to the UK, but problem was there were too many edits for some episodes. Other than that, it's still a good watch.

My daughter loves AT and I got her this to watch over Christmas. She loved it tried to make me watch it. I am afraid I don't know what the fuss is about as I couldn't take more than 5 minutes of it! But the kids like it so there you go....
