Joby GripTight ONE GP Tripod Stand with Phone Holder - Black

Great product. I admit this bit of kit is expensive but as the old saying goes you get what you pay for. Great tool for stop start animation. The phone holder fits my old iPhone 8, no problem. Highly recommended.

Really good quality product, very sturdy - a bit stiff when you first get it but can see it becoming easier to move the legs etc.. when you use it more, expected as it’s brand new. Overall a great product, the magnet is very strong and can hold up an iPhone XS perfectly fine and with a case on it too. Does not damage the phone at all when in the mount so great quality there. The bluetooth remote for taking photos is great, good range and fast response when taking photos. Would reccomend, is on the pricier side for phone mounts but worth it for the quality, the stand is versatile can unscrew the phone mount and use it to mount a camera too. Would reccomend, good service with fast delivery

Functional lightweight - smaller than I thought but perfect for holding iPhone when doing night sky photos etc and keeping it still. Very easy to use.

Sturdy enough,weren't sure how to use phone on there without turning it sideways,but there is enough room with out doing that,and to use earphones with which is what I wanted. Happy Days.

Not overly impressed. It's ok and definitely does the job, but to be honest I've found the cheap £10 ones I've bought from China just seem to work better. This is 3-4x the price and doesn't really deliver better results.The magnets on the bottom of the legs are nice, powerful enough to let it support itself with a phone attached but you do need to be careful. It's quite rare i get to make use of that feature though, twisting the legs around an object is usually fine.Mine has also picked up a crack in one of the pods on the legs which means it twists out of position occasionally. This is because they are hard plastic so can crack if they get knocked. Another downside vs the cheap Chinese ones which tend to be padded.

Bought this for my S23 Ultra when on zoom to keep it still - Due to how the power button is located on the phone you have to set the stand off centre. This means that it takes an age to get the thing to sit still as the weight is over to one side. Has a habit of moving as well if you are pointing towards the sky ( night/ Star photography) so maybe not the best choice for that. Worth the money though - folds away nice and small so good for travelling light!

So I am writing this review just over a year after I purchased the tripod.If you have a Samsung S23 Ultra purchase the updated version!!In itself the tripod I'd great, I have being really happy with the product. Used it very regularly, the o ly thing I have had happen is that after just over a year the clamp has broken.I have still given the tripod 4 stars as I still think it is a fab product. I have an alternative clamp from Manfrotto that I can use instead. Which is to be fair more secure anyway.If you have a descent phone just keep an eye on the clamp as it ages, I would have being gutted if my phone had been damaged.Overall I am happy with the tripod, great little bit of kit for use with your phone or a point and shoot. BUT, just keep a check on the clamp.
