Does what it is supposed to do - Hält was es verspricht
I bought these glasses after an interview with Dave Asprey and the Sleep doctor and as nobody sells them or something similar in Germany I bought them from the US. And the glasses work I have to say. When I put them on round about half an hour before I like to hit my bed, I get tired and fall asleep faster than before. And as I live with my family and they don't want to dim all lights in the evening they are a great alternative. They are not looking "cool" on me (my family says I look like a fly) and I find them a little bit too expensive, especially with shipping costs and costum duties.

Well Made and Work Well
I use these glasses to watch TV at night. Everything goes a kind of red black and white but you do get used to it. Does it work? By not telling my brain that it is daylight (all the blue light from the TV) I fall asleep faster and stay asleep. I believe that they do help. I have a small head/face and find that they are a little large for me, but I can still wear them comfortably.

Quality is terrible
I like the lenses and the design but for this much money the quality is HORRIBLE. If I didnt know I would have guessed these costs at most $10.

Yes, these work.
I have been taking multiple seminars on natural health and healing as a way to prevent illness and chronic fatigue, increase energy etc. A consistent message regardless of who you listen to is the importance of SLEEP! A couple doctors and experts specifically suggested the red glasses for night and the yellow for day. I doubt I will get over my bad habit of watching TV or reading emails before I go to bed so instead I tried these glasses so at least that activity didn't mess with my circadian rhythm. They work amazing. I get to sleep MUCH faster, about 20-30 minutes of screen time as opposed to 1-2 hours. I live in the city so no matter where I go my house has outside light shining in through the blinds so I have slept in these which are perfection. They are very comfortable with a soft rubber inside around the eye part to close off the light from getting in the edges. I am a back sleeper so it was very comfortable to have them on and they were perfectly in place when I woke up. I have been able to sleep completely through the night when I normally would wake up 3-4 times. I naturally wake up after 8 hours which is the ideal time and feel rested for the first time in a long time. I was skeptical but splurged because I had so many sleep issues and these came highly recommended by many educated people studying sleep that I trust. Well, it certainly worked for me. For those that complained about light getting in from the sides, I did not have that issue. It could be the shape of your face but I have a fairly large round head for a woman and they fit snugly on my face with no light coming in from the sides.

First real ones I've ever experienced
I've tried a few blue light glasses and generally been scammed thus far. This is my fourth pair of glasses that purport to block light for sleep, but the first I've ever tried that actually do it.The build quality is definitely bad imo, don't get me wrong. The arm of the glasses doesn't fit quite right and won't open all the way and it feels cheap like it's about to break. I don't care about the looks of the shades themselves. The packaging is really nice, the collapsible case they come with is primo. The lenses do genuinely block blue and green light, as I expected red lenses with the right filter coatings to do. It's crazy to see compared to the cheap dogshit fake ones that are very popular on amazon, of which I bought several. Search for "blue light test image" and find something with black and blue mixed together. If the glasses actually are blocking blue, then the image would look all black. Same goes for green in this case since they block both (most amber/orange colored lens sleep glasses only block blue). There are a ton of ways to see the blue blocking effect but until you see it for real it can be hard to know what to expect, and therefore very easy to fall for literal rose colored glasses that don't block jacktldr it's harder than you might think to find actual blue/green blocking sleep glasses, but these ones actually do work which helps offset the price and build quality

For those with perscription glasses
I bought these glasses and since I need perscription glasses I brought the little inserts to Costco optical to put in the lenses. Costco looked at the night glasses and was impressed with them. Costco said they and most "big box" optical stores will not make custom lenses for those inserts. He told me to go to an independanct optical store. I did and they made up the lenses. They did an excellent job and now I can use these night glasses and watch the tv or just relax and be able to see. I'm glad I invested in them. They help me to relax in the evening.

Poor quality.
Edit 2: The manufacturer had not been repsonding to my messages in complaint, and I eventually reached out to the manufacturer to see about buying replacement parts for the glasses, and at that point they did send me replacement arms. Those have luckily held up pretty well since. I still can't pop the review up higher than this because of the initial breaking and difficulty getting help from the company, but I would still recommend them at this point.Edit: These glasses were great, but they broke within a few weeks, which makes them very expensive and useless. I was very happy with them until then but can no longer recommend them to patients or friends. I only wore them before bed, so they had no unusual wear at all.Original Review:Well made, comfortable fit, and I can feel a deeper sleep immediately. The only reason it's not 5 stars, is that while it has a padded later around the rib with air vents so that it can block peripheral light from hitting your eye and keep air flow...the glasses would need to have a goggle strap to actually hold that against your face, so peripheral light does get in. I'd like to see a way to have it comfortably fit to my face to keep out peripheral light, given the purpose of the glasses. That said, I'm still very happy with them and glad I didn't go for a knock off brand.
