Make sure it is right for your application
When looking at this item, don’t be fooled that it is a cheap garden hose. Unlike a garden hose it is more rigid and made of plastic. Designed more for the hose lock watering systems I believe.Pros:- cheap hose for use in the garden and great if used for the purpose in which it is designed.- unlikely to tangleCons:- not as flexible as regular harden hose- easily damaged if bent or stood on- not meant to be rolled and unrolled between uses- cannot be used on a hose reel (but it isn’t designed for that purpose anyhow)I use it to run along the bottom of a fence to get water to the other end of the garden. For this purpose it works well. Not sure about durability yet but so far so good.

Not a hosepipe. For irrigation purposes.
I bought this to replace an existing irrigation system I installed that used just 4mm tube. The pressure difference is great and all jets work really well right to the end of the pipe.I also purchased a pack of 13mm connectors, 90 degree connectors, end stops and some with a 4mm T piece for each cut point / jet.Pipe is plastic, not a hose pipe so cannot bend much hence the L connectors but this also means the pipe is strong, doesn’t crush and can be buried slightly below the surface to hide it.Anyway, it works well and is probably equally as good as other brands but also probably no better. I used a heat gun to help soften the pipe where I added connectors that are pushed in. Without heat, it would have been really difficult.

Simple to use with automatic watering system
It forms the backbone of an automatic watering system. I left it out in the sun to soften and to make it easier to unwind the hose. It connects together well with other hozelock items

Works fine
Used for automatic watering sysyem. Connected to another hozelock identical pipe bought years ago, so it lasts. Did buy hoselock connectors that you punch in with the tool, but then used one of the cheaper pipe and watering system sets for the small pipes. No leaks and works great. Appreciated review that said lay out in the sun to straighten it out first.

A strange concept of flexibility!
Well it works well as a distribution pipe, but I find the manufacturers claim of flexibility somewhat misleading to say the least! It is essentially a thin wall rigid plastic pipe that kinks far too easily and retains its coil memory. We had to physically rotate and unwind the coils as best we could and then stretch it out across the garden in the sun for an hour or so before it could be used at all. Even then it can only be coerced into relatively wide radius bends and seemingly would still prefer to be back in a coil. There must surely be better materials for this application?

Brilliant lightweight supply hose for extending your water supply in the garden.
Arrival was speedy as always with prime, well packaged. I have to say I was a little suprised at how lightweight it is, I did not realise supply hose was so much thinner than normal hosepipe. It is a rubbery plastic that kinks fairly easily, so NOT a garden hosepipe dont be mistaken. It is simply for extending your supply to each tap). Having said that it is easy to cut with a Stanley knife and as long as you soak each end in hot water ( boiled and put into a flask for the purpose ) it will slip reasonably easily onto the joints and couplings you would be using to turn corners and make T junctions. Do not soak the end past the length needed to fit over the joint as the pressure you use to push it onto the joint causes it to crumple. I dipped it about and inch into the water. My project has been to supply running water taps to the rest of our garden and down to the car area. As our house is a sprawling mass of add ons and different zones this was bound to be a time consuming job with many joints and turns. So far I am half way round and the pipe looks smart and tidy pinned to the lower walls with black wall clips and is much easier to fit and make joints with than a standard hosepipe. You would not be able to leave this supply turned on during winter if it is above ground and I cannot comment on its suitability for below ground, although I think I would be more inclined to use a more robust hose. If you fit valves to turn the supply on and off it can be easily switched on for use during winter and switched off again straight afterwards, just turn off at the valve then uncap the end or turn the tap open so the residual water can drain away and not expand into ice.For simply extending your current outdoor water supply for the summer months this hose is great and yes I would buy it again. The only thing I would say is be careful on fitting that you don't kink the hose as it kinks fairly easily. It is designed to be pinned to walls and fitted with corners and T's, you cannot bend it or go round corners.I cannot comment on the longevity or lifespan as it is a new product to me. The price is about right I would say for the quality of the product. Very happy.
