Q: Is the hold function a peak-hold or does it just hold whatever the reading is when you hit the hold button?

Q: What’s the difference between 770D and 770E? Features seem exactly the same, and 770e is not on their website.

From what I've read elsewhere, the only difference appears to be the precision of the readings. The E model is an updated version of the D model, and it's supposed to be slightly more precise. The D model is already quite good.
