I have ordered this set when the old warmer was lost its functionality.Well, although it seems working as it is advertised Here are some points you may want to know- one of the pads stopped resetting ( back to liquid state) when immersed in hot water after first use.- there is a disturbing odor after immersion pads you may want to use a container not used for food.- They stick together during immersion, I was concerned that it may burst while pulling the apart. But they were separated without any incident.- one more of the pads after use didn't seem to have completely go back original state after immersion. And there is a sdiscoloration- darker blue- and granulated texture, not completely liquid.I would suggest caution if you are planning to buy from this supplier .Note to supplier: you may want to add some information about the strange smell and the material in the pads.I am not sure how long the remaining pads will last.

These get hot fast and stay warm for more than 15 minutes during my usage. I double layer gloves when working outside in the winter and use the round ones tucked between the inner and outer glove. Keeps my hands toasty even in sub-zero (F) temps.Add these to your emergency kit and get some for daily cold weather use.Easy to "recharge" just drop them in boiling water until you see no more crystals in the pouch then set them on a cooling rack to dry and get back to room temp. I've refused one at least a dozen times and it still works great.

The package contains six pads. Theoretically, a click on the little disc inside the pad activates it and starts the heating process; however, my experience was different. I could only "click" three of the pads, and only one of them produced any heat. 1 out of 6. That's not good enough for me.That was how my first review started; however, I've since learned more about this product. Now, my only complaint is in how it's marketed. Clicking on the little tabs (called metal coins in their advertising) is a very poor way to activate the discs (1 out of 6). What you must do is to BREAK them however you can. Once you do that, you'll hear an audible sound, and the activation begins.As to the usefulness of the activated pads, I now have nothing but praise. They furnish the needed heat quickly and easily. Now, the heat doesn't last that long, but it is quite sufficient for the purpose for which I bought them: the treatment of earaches; however, I wouldn't expect them to be of much value for serious muscle aches, such as leg cramps. For that, something stronger and longer-lasting is probably required.

If you are in need of portable, instant pain relief, then this is the product for you. I purchased these in anticipation of international travel, as I did not have room in my suitcase for a traditional heat pack. The set comes with 10 click-activated warmers--that are super easy to use. It's amazing how quickly upon activating (ie-simply press on the small piece of metal inside the gel pack), the chemical reaction occurs. Once activated, the pack begins heating, and it's ready to use. I like that it is small, and can mold to areas in need of relief. Once finished, it is easy to "re-set" by placing in boiling water (directions included). If you are wondering how this worked when traveling, in all of my hotels, there were hot water dispensers/teapots, so was easy to accomplish-by placing inside a cup with the boiling water). You can also place the gel pack in the refrigerator and use as a cool/ice pack. This is a great set for those in need of reusable heat/cool packs.

I ordered two sets of these. They arrived in a plastic shipping bag, and both boxes had fallen apart inside, and all contents loosely mixed with blue fluid / powdery goop — several of the warmers had leaked. I threw the soggy broken boxes in the trash and cleaned up the heaters. I some of the heaters were solid (activated during or before delivery). I wrapped up the heaters for gifts. Upon gift presentation, it proved very difficult to "click" or bend the activating disks in the heaters. My kids could not activate the disks. I had a hard time with them too. I returned all of the working packs. I was credited with only returning 1 set. I would advise everyone to not buy these.

The chips you are suppressed to snap to make it work wouldn't snap and start heating they just broke in half.
