This turned out really cute. Easy to put together. We painted it which I think really makes it stand out.

My family loves doing 3D wooden assembly kits. My 11yo ended up tackling this particular one and did a great job with it... except he's not fond of using glue unless instructed, and this one does not instruct you to often use glue.Well, pieces fall off easily. This is not a kit where things are tight when assembled. This is good in some ways. It means painting it isn't likely to interfere with putting it together. However, it definitely needs glue to hold things together to avoid being very fragile. I think there were also some minor issues in which pieces go where, but we were quickly able to make it work.The light does work, and it looks appropriately cute/haunting when the light is on.

I enjoyed coloring the wood pieces with markers and then assembling this puzzle. It was easy to assemble and follow, has nice little details I wasn’t expecting to create dimension.

WHAT: DIY 3D Wooden Halloween Haunted House Kit with LED LightsWHAT I LIKED:* Easy to understand instructions* Fun quick project - Only takes about couple hours or so to build* Once assembled it makes a spooky Halloween decoration* It lights up!* This is simple enough to do with a younger child. 5YO helps me with projects likes this so it's nice when the projects are straight forward enough that 5 can find the pieces for me and insert them.* Wood is paintable - I plan to paint this but unable to finish before Halloween. I use acrylic paint or paint markers for projects like this.WHAT COULD BE IMPROVED:* It'd be nice to have duplicates of some of the easily breakable parts.* Most of these kits use battery power. USB powered lights would be more convenient. I'm tired of buying batteries when I have a ton of USB cables.NOTE: While this is a good kit overall, the current price of 29.99 is high. A good price would be half that.

So fun to build.
