Pinball Arcade Season 2 (PS4)

I'm reading some people saying season 2 isn't as good as season 1. I have both seasons and season 2 contains my absolute favorite table "Firepower".I also have Williams pinball classics on PS3 by the same developer and can confirm that the PS4 ball physics have been refined and are more realistic on the PS4. The ball now has more weight to it. Amazing games with over 40 tables between season 1 &2. Highly recommend.

a few months ago I purchased season 1 of The Pinball Arcade and I was blown away how amazing and fun it was and it had a very nice selection of tables.Now onto Season 2 there are a few tables I like and a few I don't like so much here are my favouritesCactus Canyon (one of my favourites set in the old wild west!)Champion PubPin BotWhite WaterTerminator 2 (the only licensed table on this set) and it's also very challenging!Space Shuttle (a nice retro looking sci-fi table)If you enjoyed Season 1 then I highly recommend you buy Season 2!!!! The only way to get Williams and Bally tables for Pinball Arcade nowadays is via the two discs that were previously released before the licence expired, Fortunately any games you have bought digitally are downloaded during installation so all appear in the one game. Problem is they download for both Seasons. Small price to pay for accessing the tables that are no longer available through PSN.Season 2 is by far a weaker selection of tables in my opinion but worth it if your a pinball simulation fan as it will double the overall number of tables available.

Firstly if you are a trophy hunter then move along - they have not added trophies to this season as they have reached the limit of trophies they can add. I really enjoy trophies so upon playing the game then looking at my trophies list - then google (as I thought there was something wrong!) I am now really disappointed. Once they have fully released seasons 3 and 4 they might be able to patch and add trophies but for now - no. Apart from that this is more of the same as season 1 - more tables but same gameplay. It also adds a second game icon to your media bar on the ps4 saying season two and had to update upon first play which is pointless as my season 1 is already updated. Overall the pinball tables themselves are brilliant but the shoddy disk launch without the trophy support all seems half finished, surely this should have been an add on to the season one pack.

Not impressed with the fact you have to go to playstore to play the tables !! You get a free trial with a couple but once you hit a score you then have to go to playstore to buy !! And some you can't even play on till you buy ! , also keeps crashing so waste of money , sorry not impressed

I have the first one so was looking forward to this and I have to say that the tables on here, as a collection, aren't as good as the first one.However, that's not to say it's not a worthwhile purchase, because if like me, you love pinball tables, it's a worthy purchase, but I'd try before you buy.

Simply brilliant recreations of real tables, play and effects for any pinball fan. Hours of enjoyment without spending a penny (no pun intended).
