After I shutdown and restarted the app, I clicked “Resume Setup” and the “Next” button is clickable this time.*Hardware Setup Bug Workaround” My sensor pairing was timing out and not successful. I took a seat, tried again, and it worked immediately. Turns out it was failing when I stood behind the camera. Once I move to the front of the camera to sit down, the sensor pairing works immediately.**************************************************I consider myself Smart Home savvy with Google Home, Alexa, Nest, and Kasa products installed in my home. I value my privacy and pay attention to what they do with my video and data.Smart garage has been on my radar for a few years but nothing seems right. Garage motor vendors trying to do software worries me. Chamberlain MyQ monopoly with Amazon Key gives me the wrong vibes. Most important of all, the videos are stored locally on our SD card. NO video in the cloud and NO monthly fees!**************************************************Despite the two bugs I ran into during setup, I am pleasantly surprised with this product.1. The packaging is easy to open, nicely laid out, easy to flatten, and all paper recyclable.2. Camera is surprisingly small. Fits well under the garage motor magnetically. No screws!3. The mount is genius and I haven’t seen a product like this. You can easily swivel horizontally 360 degrees and vertically 110 degrees(? Pure eyeballing it)4. Android app was intuitively easy to use (except the one setup bug I ran into). Lots of help text and humorous text such as “It’s quiet. Too quiet.”5. Slide to open/close garage with confirmation is a nice touch. I don’t need to worry if I ever “pocket open” my garage6. Unexpected, but when closing, the camera would flash light and beep sound for 5 seconds then start closing. I recognized the safety significance as soon as I saw it, especially with a wife, two kids, and a dog at home.7. The app and camera have worked reliably for the past week. It does what it is supposed to. If I were to nitpick, it sometimes takes 4 to 8 seconds to connect.8. A few interesting settings such as schedule close are hidden under camera setting. Not under top level setting.9. Video quality is good including night vision when there are no lights.

Worked most of the time at first, for about 9 months, with connectivity dropping sporadically. But then the app completely stopped working last week. We keep getting an error message or it would just crash altogether upon launching. So now we have a completely useless piece of hardware mounted on our garage door opener. Total waste of money and the time and effort we invested in installing it!

This camera- remote looks promising at first but after a short while the nightmares start.The camera keeps disconnecting from WiFi, getting error popups etc.Sometimes it will let you open the garage remotely and won’t be able to close it . I contacted technical support several times and you get nothing other than an email confirmation of complaint received.Do not recommend at all, it is not reliable.

Pro's- Works with the "yellow learn button" Security + 2.0 on my GDO- Love the design, small and compact over competitor options- Easy to setup- Nice app interface- Good camera resolutionCon's- Was not able to do initial setup on my phone, had to use my wife's phone for some reason (same make and model) Could have been something to do with VPN on my phone, but if there is a setup issue with that, it should be made clear.- Device worked without any issues for 2-3 days then had several "offline" issues, but has been fine for several days again without anymore "offline" notifications.- Live video feed could be faster, but still not that badAnother thing to note, check to make sure you are getting the right micro SD card for this device. They have specific card requirements that you need to check on their website to make sure you get the right card.With all that being said, I would recommend OCCHI to others.

I bought this item and it worked perfect for the first year. However, I had to get a new router. I tried to connect it to the new router, it would not work. So, I uninstalled it and tried to reinstall it. I found out that the app that controlled the camera was no longer available in the Google playstore. The Company ( OOCHI) did not replace the app.I called Amazon, and the nicest young Lady tried for over an hour to solve the issue. Nothing she tried worked. The strangest thing is that there is no telephone number to talk to anyone.I highly recommend that you DO NOT PURCHASE THIS SMART CAMERA!!!!!
