Very good quality for the money.

An inexpensive alternative to the "x"lifter. It has been working as intended in a studio environment for over 1 month now. Running through a frequency analyzer, it doesn't appear to add any noise or reshape the source's frequency input.Only thing that worries me is the XLR connection points seem a bit flimsy as the cable didn't seat in them well the first few times I used it. Hopefully, it holds up over time.As of today, I'd recommend it.

Bought this for my Shure SM7b. Paired it up with my Harmony h224 interface ad wow. Gain turned to about 12:00, came through loud, clear, and clean. If you're looking for a preamp that's half the price of the cloudlifter (love that donner coupon), give this a try.

I bought this with my own money, it wasn't given to me for free for a review. This booster was quiet and clean, the noise level was lower than Klark Teknik's. But it changed the sound of my microphones A LOT, to the point I didn't really recognize my microphone's original sound profile. It sounded like the sound from a pipe rattling and roaring. I returned after consideration. I really DO NOT recommend this product. I recommend a Cloudlifter or a Veeleiz Mica.

You get what you pay for and it's worth every penny. My old dynamic mic shines like a new penny because of this preamp.

TLDR: Pretty good little preamp for recording on your computer! This is my first one though, so I can’t really say how it holds up to other more expensive brands. This really made a drastic difference in how my recordings sounded, which was louder, more crisp, and definitely less background noises. I think it’s pretty good for the price, and for me who is new at recording audio, it works really well. I do not know that it would be great for professionals and may only be medium quality for them, but for a beginner it has been great! 🎤 😌
