I did a lot on research online before purchasing this. I wanted something top of the line because of the amount of of use this was going to get and I’ll be honest my first instinct was to go for the DJI Osmo, purely from brand recognition as I’d never tried any Zhiyun products before, but everything I researched pointed me in their direction and I have not been disappointed, I initially purchased it as a solution for quick real estate videography but it’s so much more than that and I’ve subsequently used in some capacity for nearly everything I’ve been shooting, the extra quality it packs onto a smartphone for cinematic filming is unbelievable and enables it sit comfortably and sometimes even replace the need for higher spec cameras on certain jobs. Outside of work it’s just a wonderful tool, that I now take everywhere with me and I can’t fault their customer service, I had some initial problems with the app, but they are on board with everything and very quick to respond and help. All in all, just great.

Not much, if anything that I dont like, its a really nice gimbal, solid, responsive and works with a variety of different software.It is a little heavy but thats what makes it robust.

The ZHIYUN Smooth 5S Combo is a great tool for smartphone content creators. The built-in magnetic fill light and tripod are super useful. It takes a bit to get the hang of the controls, but it’s a valuable addition to my gear.

This is an amazing gimble. The camera moves on 3 axis and gives you 360° rotation. It's so easy to use one handed and the battery life is incredible. I charge mine and I can use it 5/6 hours a day without recharging for 4/5days.I'm an amateur and I find using it a cinch and I don't think I'm using half the features this gimble has. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for an affordable gimble with all the features of much more expensive competitors.
