Amtech A2125 1.8kg (4lb) Sledge Hammer with fibreglass Shaft

Arrived quickly, excellent packing and very functional. It did my anchorage pegs perfectly with well balanced and adequate handle length from a kneeling position. The grip even with builders gloves was great and compared with similar hammers good value. It now awaits its next job.

...but at almost 2 kilos, it's plenty meaty for most jobs. Except, you know, the whole spinning it to fly through the air thing. But there's a hole in the handle that I suppose you COULD put a lanyard through. The handle's a bit on the abrasive side, it has to be said, but beyond the lack of magical powers and slightly chafey handle, it's a solid performer.Of course it is, it's a lump of metal on a stick.

Great wee sledge hammer, light enough so that I could lift it above my head & give it a good wack.Several 4x2's concrete slabs smashed plus a pallet.It will come in handy for all sorts of jobs.
