Quality rugged timepiece
I ordered this watch in error & was all set to return it for the one I originally wanted. Decided to try it and am keeping it. It superb. Accuracy is spot on. Taken it Scuba diving already and no problems at all at 20 meters. The glow is amazing and super bright and easy to see. Like someone else posted been asked already if it's a TAG . Also have a TAG watch and that's in the drawer for now.

Nice but not as illustrated.
Bought this as the price was good at the time. However the dials aren’t blue and orange as shown and it’s smaller than the Recon which I’ve already got so sent it back. Nice watch just not right for me and isn’t as nice as the Recon.

On the dark side...
...but ‘ALWAYS VISIBLE’!✤ LUMINOX ~ SWISS MADE✤ Navy SEAL 3500 SERIES✤ MODEL : XS.3501.BO✤ MOVEMENT: QUARTZ✤ ILLUMINATION: NIGHT VISION TUBES (25 YEARS)✤ WRIST STRAP : PU TYPE~ FEATURES : DATE & TIME with SECOND HAND (barely audible tick) & DIVING BEZEL (200 M WATER RESISTANT)~ BATTERY - in situ & already working in mine (replace via Authorised Luminox Service Centre, as per manual).~ COLOUR : BLACK (with WHITE & CREAM, by day: BLUE & ORANGE, in the depths of darkness!)~ SIZE : Overall length is around 26.75 cm x 45 mm wide on the watch face (allowing for the crown & the little bar on the opposite side that shows 200 M). The face depth is around 13 mm (max). The strap width is just over 2 cm at the watch face, narrowing to around 1.5 cm.ooOooThe watch is exactly as currently pictured in the stock images & video clip above. However, mine came in a rectangular, rigid-plastic type box that measures around 16 cm x 7.5 cm (max including the catch) x 5 cm deep. The multi-lingual INSTRUCTION MANUAL & INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY CARD are slotted in a band on the underneath of the foam rest on which the watch sits in the case.It is worth noting that:📝 ‘The warranty is only valid together with the original Amazon invoice’ (2 years from the date of invoice). On opening, the watch face & buckle are protected with transparent seals, as is the back ~ SILVER-GREY coloured, which has the key features engraved around the outside (+ 4 x screws). The DATE number was correct; the time needed adjusting an hour, in my case, so an opportunity to test the quality CROWN, which has two positions; the first to change the date (forward only) & the second to change the time. There is a note in the instruction manual to fully press the crown back in again to ensure water resistance! The watch face has a cool, almost 3-D effect, at times, that is hard to explain and even harder to photograph, especially with the night-time hues (last image below refers ~ to give an idea of colour, but it is blurry)! The LUMINOX logo replaces the number 12 on the watch face but is not too in your face, so to speak, and the bar above it glows ORANGE (along with the hands), in the dark, so you know the watch is the correct way up if not wearing. The other digits are hardly noticeable, in BLACK on BLACK (and a magnifying glass is required, in my case, to see the tiny 13-23).The DIVING BEZEL has anti-clockwise movement only. The DATE replaces the number 3 and, in WHITE numerals, is reasonably clear given the size. The STAINLESS STEEL, 2-prong buckle is also nicely subdued with the LUMINOX logo opposite to the one embossed on one side of the strap. The slightly rubbery feel, BLACK wrist strap has 10 x double row of holes, fitting a fair thickness of wrist to quite slim, although the chunkiness of the face does rather stand out on the latter, IMO & the weight of around 72g was noticeable to begin with, compared to my usual watch. There are two 1 cm wide, movable ‘retainers’ to put the shaped end of the strap through, although I find this a bit of a struggle one-handed.Once on, the watch doesn’t move around, although it got a bit hot under the strap in this recent sunny spell!Other colours are currently available, including my favourite BLACK & YELLOW combo.ooOooManufacturer detail:✔ Featuring Swiss Made Luminox Light Technology (LLT) that provides constant night visibility for up to 25 years, without pushing a button or recharging.✔ Swiss technology featuring tiny gas lights on the hands, hour markers and on the bezel.✔ 45 mm ultra-light carbon compound case, 20 ATM water-resistance tested, protected double-gasket security crown, hardened mineral glass.✔ Date indication, uni-directional rotating diver bezel, 24-hours military time indication.✔ PU rubber-type strap.✔ Swiss Made quartz movement✔ 2 years international manufacturer warranty.

Very nice watch
This watch is not to bulky. The straps are made out of a nice rubber. Does not irritate the skin. Very easy to set time and date. Pull the dial out to set time in date and make sure you click it in place after. Comes with 2 years warranty. The instruction manual is strapped to the watch inside the plastic box the watch comes in.

Attractive, functional and practical
This is a really attractive all black watch, except for the silver backing. It comes with a two year guarantee from the time you purchase it from Amazon. The dial is illuminated so that you can see the time even on the darkest night and this illumination lasts up to 25 years which shows that it's a watch that is built to last. The watch strap is made of rubber, which is functional and practical but I’m not sure if that will last up to 25 years. The watch has a light but well constructed feel to it and looks good for even smarter occasions as well as casual. It is waterproof at up to 200m, so ideal for those secret missions or swimming on holiday. Overall it feels well made and looks really attractive in a butch kind of way.

I like it but I don't love it
This is nice watch. I generally agree with most of the reviews but though I like this watch I don't love it.The pictures and description do a good and accurate job of giving you all the information that you need. This watch feels and looks nice. It keeps accurate time and it is made by a respected firm so their claims about how water resistant it is are likely to be accurate.Yet for the price I would like a nicer less plastic feel.

Tells the time, relentlessly.
This is the most rugged watch I've ever seen. It completely looks the part, in rubberised black with a rubber wrist band. It does just six things: date, hours, minutes, seconds, elapsed diving time (with a turnable bezel), and glows in the dark. It does these things to intense depth, and enormous resistance to shock. The manual details (in tiny print) all of the Special Forces worldwide that use it, or a version of it.Slightly oddly, in terms of practicality, but quite right in terms of marketing, the watch is supplied in a Pelicase. Pelicases are so rugged that the larger ones have NATO part numbers. Given that this watch is almost indestructible, it seems a bit superfluous. On the other hand, it gives you a nicely indestructible case to keep your sunglasses in.This is a watch for the adventurous, and for those who would like to seem so. If you've broken your watch several times doing extreme sports or manual work, then this might be a good choice, especially if you have large wrists.
