Perfect for pairing with my laptops bluetooth.
Perfect. Not much more to say. It works exactly how I wanted it to. Was trying to pair a bluetooth component with my laptops bluetooth. Previously I was trying to use a HC-08 I brought elsewhere, and by mistake I didn't realise the HC-08 uses Bluetooth Low Energy, meaning it will not connect easily to my laptop or phone. This on the other hand doesn't use BLE, meaning I could pair it up with my arduino kit, pair it through Unity, meaning I can continue with my project. Thanks DSD. Life savers.

Comes with a nice plastic cover and male-female jumpers
Bought many HC-06 modules in the past, but DSD have provided the nicest packaging so far. Comes with a nice plastic cover and male-female jumpers. Thanks!

Conflicting information
Listing specified "the 5V MCU also can be connected directly",instructions leaflet that comes with the product states that you must use level shifters with 5v TTL/IO.
