YONGNUOYN-560 IV Flash Speedlite for Canon Nikon Pentax Olympus DSLR Cameras

My YN-560 IV arrived about two hours ago and I am already glad I took the punt on this amazing piece of kit, worth every penny! I have just ordered a second.This is my first speedlight so I did not want to spend a lot of money despite looking at the Canon equivalent on the high street. Build quality is good and it comes with a little stand and a soft case. It is extremely easy to use and understand (even with the limited instructions as supplied).I got the 560-TX Flash controller as well - it took less than a minute to pop AA batteries in and have both the controller and the flash talking to one another. There are plenty of YouTube videos out there to help you but, suffice to say, it is very easy and 'just works'.Controlling flash output and mode are super simple and I am already thinking about the miriad of creative uses for off-camera flash, this will certainly help extract any talent I may have (and, if not, it will be great fun trying).Power output ranges from full down to 1/128th and can be increased in one third stops. Recycle time (full power) is about two seconds.This is a manual flash not a E-TTL type thing but I personally like trial and error.Super happy!

This is a great flashgun and much cheaper than the Canon equivalent. I have a Canon 70D and 60D and find the flash synch up to 1/8000 second and not the usual 1/200 second great for 'blocking out the sun' in outdoor shooting. I also bought YN622C transceivers and a YN622C-TX controller which I'm also very happy with them. I've had the flashgun for a month now so can't comment on longevity, so far so good. I intend to buy another one or two they are such good value.Update 10 July 2018I bought this in March 2015 and have been using it since. It's still in great working order and thanks to my own care it still looks brand new. I find the most times I use it is outside on sunny days when I can balance the flash and ambient to get a very well exposed model and background. Before this when I metered for a subject in shade EV10 while background was a sunny EV15 the background was always blown out. And it can't be beaten for price, I also have the YONGNUO YN-622C-TX LCD Flash Transmitter for YN-622C Trigger for Canon DSLR Camera and I have 6 YongNuo YN-622C Wireless E-TTL Flash Trigger for Canon for off camera flash. This setup makes off camera flash a breeze.I highly recommend all of these items.

Excellent flash to replace another make other than the Canon which is a little out of reach at the moment. Used it for an awards Gala and not one single misfire or delay in firing in fast order. The batteries did get a little heated towards the end of the night but they lasted for over 300 shots and are still good for more. Had it been the old mental flash I have no doubt it would have been binned but is now a secondary slave only. You get a lot for what you pay but it fulfills it's purpose and is great value when compared to the cost of the Canon unit. Not only that but should anything untoward happen to it, the cost of replacing is not high and so to buy another is always an option. An excellent flash all round. For anyone wanting to know what camera I was using a Canon 5D mk3 and no problems whatsoever.

After buying this from Amazon and it not being delivered I bought from another supplier. Flashes are amazing for the price. Easy adjustment of power, nice and loud on recharge and works well with my wireless triggers. Only thing that bothers me is a slight difference in power between multiple fast shots at lower output settings. Same photo, same settings on camera, low power on flash but there is a difference in lighting... Should expect something for the price I paid. Still great manual flashes.

Great flash! Build quality is more than good enough, battery life is good and it works perfectly. When paired with the YN560-TX controller, it's the best bang-for-the-buck flash system on the market. Cycle times are fine, battery life is good, wireless is great with the remote controller (I think beginners would find it much easier than faffing with separate triggers). With some cheap modifiers you've got yourself a great mini setup for portraits, events etc.My only minor frustration is if the flashgun is in wireless mode, it won't fire from the hotshoe, so you have to remember to switch it between modes when going from off-camera to on-camera flash. Tiny little niggle, but can't see why it doesn't just respond to the hotshoe in all modes, to be honest.

This works a treat, really improved my low light photography and photography in general. Fairly easy to use and set up. Only given 4 stars as i think the instructions could be better with a step by step guide and examples. It feels great good build quality also comes in a nice travel case. I have been using reachable battery’s with it and recently did 4 days of work with it without the need to change them.

I use these for cave photography & they work fantastic with their remote Firer.Been using these for years
