Good for extending internet around the house
I purchased the 2-Port 600mbps Passthrough Powerline kit and it has greatly enhanced my home network connectivity range. The powerline adaptors give me a reliable and convenient solution for extending the network connection throughout my house.Pros:Easy Setup: The powerline kit is wonderfully easy to set up.You simply plug one adapter into a power outlet close to your router and connect the adaptor via an Ethernet cable. The second adaptor goes into a power socket in the desired room and again using an ethernet cable connect to your device. There is no complicated setting up or wiring, you simply plug and go.I've had mine running for a while now and the connection is fast and Stable. The powerline adaptors cleverly utilise the electric circuits in your home to extend the internet network. This creates a strong and steady connection, ideal for my internet needs such as online gaming and streaming TV.Socket outlets are a premium in my house so it was important not to lose the only one close to the TV and Xbox, so I opted for the pass through adaptors, this allows you to use the power outlet for other devices without sacrificing an available socket. The adaptors are both the same so it doesn't matter which one goes where, they both have the same pass through so you don't lose the use of a socket and each have a single Ethernet port, this allows you to connect a single device or you can add a multi port ethernet box which are inexpensive and work well, this will provide extra flexibility for connecting multiple devices, such as gaming consoles, smart TVs, and computers. The adaptors have green led lights showing that power is on and network is ok which is handy, plus they aren't too bright in the bedroom.Cons:Need to be on the same circuit to work.So if you want to use it in the shed or your upstairs sockets are on a different one to downstairs then it won't work. The longer the circuit then the effectiveness of the adaptor may diminish but in a standard house is not an issue.Overall, the 600mbps Passthrough Powerline Adaptors are a solid reliable solution for extending network connectivity throughout your home. With its easy plug and go setup, solid connection, passthrough outlet, and god Ethernet speed it's an easy option for improving network reach.I would recommend these as a great addition to any home network.

Great network extender
Great product, simple to use and set up. I wanted my NAS in my bedroom but the router is in my front room. The NAS best works best plugged direct into the router via ethernet cable. These plugs solved my problem. The NAS thinks it's plugged direct into the router. Faster than WiFi, it's a great solution to many home networking problems at an affordable price.

Good, But only comes with Cat 5 cable (max 100mbps) instead of a Cat 5e cable (max 1000mbps)
The product is easy to setup, just plug it in and pair. However, The cable provided is a Cat 5 cable rather than the much faster Cat5e cable. This is not a big deal since you can easily buy a Cat 5 cable for cheap, but it is important to bare that in mind before purchasing.

Perfect upgrade
Bought to replace old Devolo 500mps adaptors that failed after 12 years. So far, i'm impressed. Next day delivery with Prime. Setup very straightforward, it takes a second or so to pair units, do it close together before moving them to chosen locations. 2 adaptors in each pack (ports relates to the number of ethernet plug in points on the adaptor, either one or 2 per unit depending on what you've purchased). Ive got 4 adaptors around the house, not obvious from the blurb but from TP-Link website i think you can have up to 16.2 weeks in and they've performed faultlessly on security cameras, sky box and gaming PC.For those interested in speeds and loss, my own observations using the same computer/cable.Cable into the router 150 down, 30 up ping of 8ms (as advertised by provider).Speed through adaptors on the same ring, 100 down, 30 up, ping of 12ms.Speed through adaptors on different rings, 85 down, 30 up, ping of 12ms.My old units (when working) gave 18 down, 12 up and a ping of 16ms on different rings so this is a significant improvement, really pleased with the quick and reliable ping for gaming.Last caveats, I've used my own cables not the ones provided (another review suggested they arent great). I also haven't tested speeds when all being used at the same time, that said we have been using things simultaneously and i've not noticed a problem.

Works well but slight drop in download speed
Cheap and easy to setup, just plug in... I used short cat 5 ethernet cables 2m from router to wall plug downstairs and then upstairs wall plug to laptop. Noticed a drop from 150 Mbps going into the plug and getting 88 Mbps out upstairs. Going to test with a day's work video calls etc and see how it performs. Should keep the other devices from taking bandwidth and I am hoping it keeps the connection consistent which was my main wifi problem in that area on video calls.

Problems with Sky Q boxes and Gigaclear Linksys router? This is the only solution which works.
Items arrived the following day as promised and well packed. Out of the box the units were easy to set up and work exeedingly well. Highly recommended.

Good for the money, but claims are a bit inflated.
I got a few to move my ethernet-equipped hosts off of WiFi. I don't know where AV600 comes from, because I couldn't get more than around 100mbps - even when they're plugged into the same socket - and when a little remote I got 60-80mbps. This doesn't matter, the speed is sufficient for what I need but it just feels a bit disappointing to only get around 10% of what is claimed. Still, 80mbps is enough for most purposes and the connection is nice and stable. Latency and ping is good, BTW. If you are a gamer you may find these better than Wifi. The units are small and neat and have a passthrough for the device they supply. They have a nice feature where they "sleep" when the device isn't drawing much current, which reduces their power draw significantly. Setting them up is a simple case of pressing the pair button on each device, so it couldn't be simpler. They're really ideal for neatly moving ethernet-equipped hosts (smart TVs, desktop PCs etc) off of WiFi to free up wifi bandwidth for things that absolutely need to be on it. Fortunately they're cheap enough that I could just stick to one-per-device and it all worked fine.
