4/5 from me, if the 3.5mm end was 90 degree then it would have been 5/5. I knew before I purchased that both ends were straight but although it does not get in the way of your hands on the controller a right angle plug would have been better, like the original Turtle Beach cable.The lead is just the right length for an adaptor, as you can see from the photo this is plugged into the 3.5mm jack on a ONE S controller, no other hardware is required (I'm using Turtle Beach X42) and the Chat volume / game volume settings all appear on the xbox on screen menu, this menu as shown in the attached photo will only appear with the head set mic plugged in, if you unplug the menu options are no longer displayed, fairly obvious but thought id mention it.On my X42's the game audio is transmitted wireless to the headset and the cable is just for the mic/chat input. I believe the official Microsoft adaptor that comes free with the  Official Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter (Xbox One)  is a flat cabled 3.5 > 2.5 lead however this 3rd party item appears to do the job well enough and I did not require the extra plug in bit with my controller.

Bought so I could use my Turtle Beach X11 headset with my new Xbox One S (Updated controller style with 3.5mm jack).This cable sits between the feedback cable from the headset and the controller itself.Works great and means I haven't had to buy a new headset!

It did not work at all with my Turtle Beach XC1 (XBOX 360) headset .The connections physically plugged in OK but it does not work at all.It is possible that the build quality is poor and I may have received an faulty one but I suspect that the adapter itself is crap as a number of other users have found that it was ineffective with their Turtle Beach Headsets.

I used this adapter to convert an Xbox360 headset for use with a laptop. I had to clip some unused connectors off the Xbox connector, but after that it worked a treat.

Lo cogi por probar y ver si podia aprovechas mis antiguos cascos de la 360. Y asi fue, funciona bien, unos gioteck con un solo auricular, el chat perfecto y la consola lo identifica bien. Te ahorras casi 20e en comparacion con el original de microsoft (siempre y cuando tu mando tenga jack de 3,5).

Funziona perfettamente la consegna puntuale come al solito...io l'ho usato per collegare le mie cuffie turtle beach x12 ai nuovi controller dell' Xbox one s.....

Pour moi c'est OK...
