Much cheaper than liquid solutions
I bought this for cheese making. The dry form would not store well so I up a 30% solution. The product is more or less inert so I now have a supply that should last years. I have made several successful small batches of cheese. Success!

Used in homebrew
Well, I'm giving it a 4, but I've yet to taste the results. I've used it in brown ale I am homebrewing. Calcium chloride is supposed to add a malty aspect to your brews. So, I will update this when I first sample my new batch.
