Look Inside Your Body (Look Inside Board Books): 1 Board book – Organizer, 1 Aug. 2012

Bought this for my 4.5 year old daughter for Christmas as she’s been asking lots of questions about different functions of different body parts. Oh boy, does she LOVE this book so much. She even takes it to bed to read and when I check on her in the eve if she’s curled up asleep with it!!.It’s really beautifully designed with lots of fun and colourful flaps and so many relatable interesting facts about different body parts and systems. It’s definitely worth the money if you have an inquisitive little person!

My 5 year old and I have really enjoyed dipping in to this book. He will pick it up every now and then and open a page. Each double page spread looks at a different function of the body. There are lots of little doors within doors within doors to open with interesting bite-sized snippets of information behind them - I think I found them just as interesting as my little one did. The illustrations are fun and informative and the book is a great way to learn quite a bit about how the body works. No need to work through the whole thing if they are not interested as there is a lot of information to take in (not too much, I should add, but it is certainly so simplistic that you whizz through it and put it aside after a couple of uses), but it is presented in such a way that children hardly realise they are learning. Really well -designed and perfect for children aged, I would say, between 4 and 7/8, obviously depending on the interest of the child in question.

My daughter bought this book home from school and we really enjoyed reading it and learning from it! So I bought it, reasonably priced on Amazon the cheapest online.The book is so informative and easy to understand, and excellent starter book for young children to understand how the body works - my daughter are 4 and 5!

This book is amazing. The flaps make it more amusing and keep the attention of younger children. I bought two different titles for children aged 3 and 7 and it’s suitable for both ages with variations in level of understanding so lasts a few years. The kids can keep going back to the book and learning new things each time. The 7 year old is able to read the book herself with little printing and is able to discuss and understand the contents. The 3 year old likes the pictures and lifting the flaps more at the moment but will sit and listen and reasonably understand the content. These books are an excellent addition to children’s libraries and great value for money

I bought this for my five year old and it's become a favourite. I regularly find him in bed, fast asleep and cuddled up with this book. The lift up flaps tempt little fingers to explore, and the illustrations and details within the book are perfectly pitched. Nothing gory, but very informative.My only criticism would be that I think they could have covered a few more of those questions you get from little inquisitive minds though. Silly things like why you get hiccups. And possibly explained a few illnesses that young children get. It doesn't detract from the book, but it would certainly improve it in my opinion.

What an absolutely delightful book. Colourful , detailed and a trove of information. I can't wait to to give it to the children.Unfortunately it was left on the doorstep and NOT posted through my letter box as stated by delivery driver.
