Once again, this was more of a convenient purchase rather than a trip to the stops, but how fabulous I can buy them anytime I want!

My daughter and i both have curly hair and usually we use the boots own make hair mousse. However because we are currently in lockdown i haven't been able to go to boots to buy any and unfortunately its out of stock on line. My friends recommended this hair smoothie so i thought id try it instead. I am happy to say that it works brilliantly, holding my curls much better than normal hair mouse does. After 2 days of having my hair tied up and left down the curls are still there whereas usually it would just be a frizzy mess. The smell is amazing so thats good too however it does feel slightly heavy on my hair as if i haven't washed out my conditioner or something, This feeling does go after a while but at first its not veery nice. Apart from this i have no faults with the product amazon delivered it on time and there is quite a lot in the tub which is good.

Definitely one of the best brands for Afro hair that I have come across, all the products I have purchased smell amazing, they are light, don’t flake and effective, definitely recommend!

I bought two products from Shea Moisture range as people had raved about them being the "holy grail" for curly hair. The products smell lovely and do make my hair curly, unfortunately they only work for me if I air dry my hair and the product does not seem to ever fully absorb and by the end of the day my curls feel heavy and with a greasy film on them that I just want to wash off. The milk is better than the smoothie but at the end of the day both products leave my hair feeling dirty. I much prefer redkin, sofnfree or sunny isle Jamaica castor oil products.

This product is brilliant. I used to use big name brand hair cream that left the hair wet /greasy looking and crispy, not to mention the extautionate price. Even after plopping and scrunching. I thought I would give this product a chance and I'm so glad I did. It smells good. The texture is like thin white waxy cream in your hair but once worked in is invisible. It's spreads really well on damp/wet hair and dries amazingly!You can't even tell there is any product on the hair. It's soft, bouncy, defined curls with a nice shine. No crispness. No greasy look. Just all natural bouncy curls and less frizz. I still have some frizz but a lot less. A little goes a long way so value for money is great. Affordable enough to give it a try anyway! Would recommend.
